Lately...

Hello! I believe you've noticed that I haven't been editing for some days now. I wanted to let you know that I have definitely not lost interest in the Grey's Anatomy Project. It's just that I have had a lot of hard work to do for med school lately and I haven't found the time to develop other articles. Furthermore, I have also been working on some Desperate Housewives articles. I believe I will restart my regular editing on WP:Grey's in about three-four days, and I will start developing Grey's Anatomy (season 5) (I already have some drafts in my laptop). By the way, I wanted to congratulate you once again for your work on the Grey's Anatomy page, and I'm looking forward to see if it gets promoted to FA. Have a great day! Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 15:16, 6 June 2012 (UTC)

Thank you! Looking forward to your return, TRLIJC19 (talk) 20:09, 6 June 2012 (UTC)

‎Grey's Anatomy

Apologies, don't think I can give a full PR as I had intended (I am preoccupied with attempting to give GA reviews at present) but I can still make comments from time to time on your talkpage if I notice something:

  • For one, it would help if you add WP:ALT to all images.
  • Is Uniform Market News a reliable source?
  • Likewise Your Entertainment Now, BuzzSugar and WetPaint
  • Is it 'Tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com' or TV by the Numbers
  • Is it Amazon or Amazon.com
  • Any newspapers should be italicized. This applies to Ref 51, Los Angeles Times -- not a 'work' a 'newspaper' - Lemonade51 (talk) 12:05, 12 June 2012 (UTC)
Thank you for the comments! TRLIJC19 (talk) 12:17, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

WikiProject Grey's Anatomy Weekly Newsletter

WikiProject Grey's Anatomy Newsletter: The Week of June 11, 2012

Hello members of WikiProject Grey's Anatomy! We are sending out our weekly newsletter with updates about the project and tasks. First, we would like to take this time to introduce several new members to the project: Creativity97, who joined in May, Sofffie7, Smileyglen66 and InfamousPrince, who all joined in June. It is nice to be able to have more members, so as to better help out the project. We have some new achievements and updates to be announced. First, we've received four new good articles (Grey's Anatomy seasons 1-4), which were developed by Jonathan Harold Koszeghi. Second, there are three new good article nominees, awaiting reviews (Meredith Grey, Owen Hunt, and Arizona Robbins), which TRLIJC19 decided to develop. Finally, Grey's Anatomy has been rewritten and majorly expanded to comply with the Featured Article Criteria. There are plans for the article to be nominated after a peer review is completed.

There are many things to be done for the project, in an attempt to exemplify its best work. Below is a list of tasks, and guidelines:

  • Character Pages
    • Ensure that each character page has this section order:
      • LEAD (and appropriate infobox)
      • Storylines
      • Development
        • Casting and creation
        • Characterization
      • Reception
      • References
      • External links
    • Shorten character storylines, using {{Cite episode}} to reference episodes, and break down season sub-section headers into just one section, "Storylines".
    • Model pages after Owen Hunt and Meredith Grey
  • Main Page (Grey's Anatomy)
    • Keep an eye out for vandalism, as that tends to occur at that page.
  • General
    • Many users and IPs have been erasing "surgical resident" from fifth year residents characters' occupations in infoboxes and at List of Grey's Anatomy characters. This should all be held off until more info is given on their current occupation in the season premiere. Revert if you see this, and if it's persistent; warn users.

Weekly Initiative!
The weekly initiative this week, is to pick an underdeveloped character article (one that isn't GA or better), and develop it, modeling off of Owen Hunt or Meredith Grey! Search the internet for character information, and try to get the article to GA quality (using MOS and Wikipedia guidelines), then nominate it. Barnstars will be awarded to users who develop their articles to GA quality! Also, use the templates listed at the project page to recruit new members, the more the merrier! Take part in these initiatives, have fun developing an article to GA, feel proud after the article you developed reaches GA, and be rewarded with barnstars! Help make a difference and get started!

Have fun and don't forget to cite everything you write! We hope to see several new good articles, and new members, soon!

WikiProject Grey's Anatomy Newsletter: The Week of June 18, 2012

Hello members of WikiProject Grey's Anatomy! We are sending out our weekly newsletter with updates about the project and tasks. We have some new achievements and updates to be announced, a repeated recognition of last week. First, Grey's Anatomy (season 3) has been developed to apparent FA quality by Jonathan Harold Koszeghi, and TRLIJC19 is in the process of developing Callie Torres to GA quality. We are still awaiting GA reviews for Meredith, Owen, and Arizona, as well as a Peer review for Grey's Anatomy, which will be completed soon. A minor change is the re-ordering of sections on Izzie Stevens and Erica Hahn, to comply with our guidelines. There are many things to be done for the project, in an attempt to exemplify its best work. Below is a list of tasks, and guidelines:

  • Character Pages
  • Main Page (Grey's Anatomy)
    • Keep an eye out for vandalism, as that tends to occur at that page.
  • General
    • Many users and IPs have been erasing "surgical resident" from fifth year residents characters' occupations in infoboxes and at List of Grey's Anatomy characters. This should all be held off until more info is given on their current occupation in the season premiere. Revert if you see this, and if it's persistent; warn users.
    • Some IPs/Users have been changing Lexie Grey's article as well as Callie Torres, going against MOS. Revert if you see this, and try to explain to the IP/User why this is wrong.

Weekly Initiative!
The weekly initiative this week, is an extension of last week, and it's to pick an underdeveloped character article (one that isn't GA or better), and develop it, modeling off of Owen Hunt or Meredith Grey! Talkback

Hello! Thank you for your appreciation. I just wanted to let you know that, initially, I had no intention of promoting the article to FA, I just wanted to expand it. Yesterday, when you sent the newsletter, it hit me that the article really could be a FA! I have to do some copy editing and correct a few mistakes on the articles before nominating it for a peer review. Do you really think it is FA material? Thank you again for your appreciation! Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 15:51, 19 June 2012 (UTC)

Yes, I do! There are just some minor adjustments to be made:

With all those things addressed, this article should then meet the FA criteria. TRLIJC19 (talk) 15:56, 19 June 2012 (UTC)

I should nominate the article for a peer review after it is copy edited, isn't it? Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 16:06, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
Sorry, could you rephrase that? If you're asking which to do first, I personally recommend the copy edit, which is what I did with Grey's Anatomy, because then the peer reviewer doesn't have to worry about prose. TRLIJC19 (talk) 16:11, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
No need to rephrase, you have just answered my question! Thank you. I have another question, if you don't mind. How long will it take for this article to be copy edited? Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 16:13, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
Hmm, it really depends. I requested a C/E for Grey's Anatomy on May 30, and it was done by June 11. However, if you want a fast response, I would directly ask a member of the guild. Rumiton did Grey's, so consider asking him at his talk page. Getting an article ready for FA, is a long hassle, so let me know if you have any other questions! TRLIJC19 (talk) 16:18, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
Thank you for your constant help! I will follow your advice.Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 16:20, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
Great, keep me posted, and let me know when you apply for the peer review, as I'll leave some comments! TRLIJC19 (talk) 16:21, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
Again, I'm sorry to bother you with my questions. I was wondering what did you mean by "making citations consistent"?
It's no problem. A major requirement for a FA, is that citations (references) are consistent. IE.: One citation should not say "Amazon", while the other "Amazon.com": it should be standardized. Or another example, one citation should not say "tvfanatic.com", while the other "TV Fanatic". WP:Citing sources has some more good tips. TRLIJC19 (talk) 19:20, 19 June 2012 (UTC)

Goodnight :)

Hey! This message to let you know that my work for today is done; I'm going to sleep :D I really appreaciated the work we did on Lexie Grey. The page looks much better now! I hope we'll find more stuff for the reception tomorrow... Anyway, goodnight =) --Sofffie7 (talk) 21:38, 19 June 2012 (UTC)

It was great collaborating with you! I'll try to find some more on reception :) TRLIJC19 (talk) 21:39, 19 June 2012 (UTC)

Grey's Anatomy PR

I am working on the PR now. SOrry for the delay, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 02:16, 20 June 2012 (UTC)

No problem! Thank you for agreeing to review it! TRLIJC19 (talk) 02:21, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
I replied on the PR page and copied your questions from my talk page there. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 11:26, 20 June 2012 (UTC)

Hello! I wanted to congratulate you for your work on Callie Torres! The way you develop the character pages in such a short time is amazing! I don't know if I'm in the position to give advice, but I wanted to let you know that, in my opinion, it would be better to change the picture of her in a promotional from season 7, not season 6. I think that we should stick with the seventh season promotional picture because, in the one you have chosen, she is wearing the resident scrubs, and I believe it would be better to choose an image that depicts her in attending scrubs (dark blue). It's just my opinion, you don't have to consider it if it doesn't appeal to you. Thank you! Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 08:02, 20 June 2012 (UTC)

Thank you! If you can find a good quality one for seventh season, replace it. It's just the sixth season one seems to be in better quality. Also, would you mind withdrawing the Song Beneath the Song nomination, for the time being? I had intended to develop it more, before nominating :) TRLIJC19 (talk) 14:26, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
Sure. Thank you! Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 14:50, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
If you would like to help with developing, feel free! TRLIJC19 (talk) 14:50, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
I will definitely contribute when I find the time! Currently, I am busy developing Grey's Anatomy (season 2). Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 17:57, 20 June 2012 (UTC)

Peer review for Grey's Anatomy (season 3)

Hello! I was wondering which topic should I choose for the peer review? Arts
Language and literature
Philosophy and religion
Everyday life
Social sciences and society
Geography
History
Engineering and technology
Natural sciences and mathematics
General topic

Being that it is film-related, it goes under "arts". TRLIJC19 (talk) 17:47, 21 June 2012 (UTC)

Peer review (Grey's Anatomy season 3)

Hello! I just sent a request for a peer review for Grey's Anatomy (season 3) and I was wondering whether you could be the one to review it. You haven't contributed significantly to the article, and I really trust your judgement! Looking forward to your response. Thanks, Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 10:24, 22 June 2012 (UTC)

I'll leave some comments, and hopefully so will some more editors. TRLIJC19 (talk) 14:03, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
Definitely! Looking forward to it. Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 16:40, 22 June 2012 (UTC)
I'm going to be busy for the rest of the day, but should be able to finish it by tonight. TRLIJC19 (talk) 17:10, 22 June 2012 (UTC)

Grey's Anatomy (season 2)

Hello! I wanted to let you know that I have been developing Grey's Anatomy (season 2) in my sandbox. In about 3-4 days it will be done, and I will put in mainspace the version I edited. I'll be looking forward to your opinion! Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 07:55, 23 June 2012 (UTC)

Great, looking forward to seeing it! TRLIJC19 (talk) 12:32, 23 June 2012 (UTC)

Episodes

I have an idea! Why don't we restore the episode pages that were deleted in February? The reason for their deletion was that there were no references in the articles, and they really didn't provide any information besides inappropriately detailed plot summaries (those articles were in really bad shape). But we can definitely add referenced information. For some episodes, there are reviews available, there is the soundtrack, there are awards and nominations, there is title reference, there is some info on the cast (first appearances/last appearances/first regular appearances etc.) However, if none of those are available, we will have info, like the ratings (+ rankings, + number of viewers). What do you think? Some of these articles (if developed) will definitely meet GA criteria. Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 13:09, 23 June 2012 (UTC)

Lol, I planned on pushing all episode articles to GA, for my July to-do list. (I'm almost done with my June list. So how about I take seasons 1-4, and you take 5-8? TRLIJC19 (talk) 18:50, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
I'm so glad we're both on the same track! However, my plan was to work on the season pages, in order to develop them as much as possible. I will do my best, in order to get the first four to FA, and the last four to GA. I will definitely help you if you need anything for the episode articles! Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 19:52, 23 June 2012 (UTC)

Lexie Grey

Heyyy!

  • So yesterday I changed the external link because it seemed to be a problem for the checklinks tool. It was like it "wanted" the external links to be like the other Grey's characters. If you look on other pages such as Owen's, Meredith's or Callie's, the ABC external link is for the bio. I know here on Lexie we have a link similar to it in the general references but it only sends people on her "journey" and not on the main bio and that's why I changed it...  ;-)
  • Still with regard to Lexie, are you sure the three ABC links are correct? (Ref. 8, 9 and 14) I mean shouldn't ABC be the publisher and Grey Matter/Grey's Anatomy the work? I also wonder if it shouldn't be The Insider as the work and CBS Studios as the publisher for ref.6. And finally, for ref. 22 I don't think Primetime Television should be the publisher. I already expressed my doubts on the talk page but I didn't receive any response on that matter. --Sofffie7 (talk) 14:34, 25 June 2012 (UTC)
    • Hey! So here's the problem with putting the bios for Lexie: ABC deletes the character's bio, soon after they depart. That being, Lexie will be deleted soon. So, if you look at ref 9, I archived the page, so it can't go away. You cannot archive external links, which is why it should not be listed.
    • I think the Grey Matter links are in a Gray area, because it's not like Grey Matter publishes ABC- it's the other way around. So, I believe those are fine. The Insider shouldn't be changed either- for the same reason. TRLIJC19 (talk) 14:40, 25 June 2012 (UTC)
      • OK I didn't know they removed the bios, it sucks =S But still, for the references I would put for ref 6: work=The Insider, publisher=CBS Studios (because CBS isn't published by The Insider); ref 8: work=Grey Matter, publisher=ABC; ref 9: work=Grey's Anatomy, publisher=ABC, ref 13 and 14 like ref 8. In brief, I just would like to invert work and publisher for all those refs. You implied it yourself, ABC publishes Grey Matter. Do you understand what I'm trying to explain? :P --Sofffie7 (talk)
        • The 'work' is displayed in italics, and the publisher in regular. So, the page already displays that. Look at what you said above: "work=The Insider, publisher=CBS Studios (because CBS isn't published by The Insider)"—you're saying to put the 'work' as insider and the 'publisher' as CBS, but that doesn't make sense. 'Work' is the "larger part". For example, if ABC published a Grey's Anatomy magazine, the 'work' would be 'ABC' (they are the larger part) and the publisher would be 'Grey's Anatomy' (they are published by ABC). Therefore the reference would appear: ABC Grey's Anatomy. So CBS is the work and they publish The Insider. Do you understand? Lol, TRLIJC19 (talk) 15:13, 25 June 2012 (UTC)

WikiProject Grey's Anatomy Newsletter: The Week of June 25, 2012

Hello members of WikiProject Grey's Anatomy! We are sending out our weekly newsletter with updates about the project and tasks. We have some new achievements and updates to be announced! First, "Song Beneath the Song" is now a good article, and it was promoted by TRLIJC19. Second, Lexie Grey is currently being GA reviewed, and it was developed by TRLIJC19 and Sofffie7. Also, Portal:Grey's Anatomy has been created, and members are encouraged to maintain it. Still from last week, Meredith Grey, Arizona Robbins, Owen Hunt, and Callie Torres, (developed by TRLIJC19) are awaiting GA reviews. Grey's Anatomy (season 3) has been developed to near FA quality by Jonathan Harold Koszeghi, and is awaiting a peer review. Finally, Grey's Anatomy, developed by TRLIJC19, is on the brinks of moving to FAC, and is awaiting a final copy edit.

The weekly initiative this week, is to create an episode article, and develop it, modeling off of Song Beneath the Song! Search the internet for creation and reception information (a lot is given at the Grey Matter writers' blog), and try to get the article to GA quality (using MOS and Wikipedia guidelines), then nominate it. Try to go in an episodic chronological order (start at S1E1, and move further). Furthermore, if you notice that any user has participated in any weekly initiative and was not rewarded, give them a barnstar ASAP!

Have fun and don't forget to cite everything you write! We hope to see several new episodic good articles, and new members, soon!

A barnstar for you!

Random Acts of Kindness Barnstar
I would like to award you the Random Acts of Kindness Barnstar, in recognition of your helpful edits to Desperate Housewives (season 2). Tremendous thanks! Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 19:58, 25 June 2012 (UTC)
Thank you, it's no problem! You do so much for WikiProject Grey's—it was the least I could do! TRLIJC19 (talk) 19:59, 25 June 2012 (UTC)

Concern

What happens if Tonythetiger doesn't review the article today? Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 20:16, 25 June 2012 (UTC)

If he doesn't respond, then it will be extended, because you did everything you could. TRLIJC19 (talk) 20:17, 25 June 2012 (UTC)
I see. Thank you for everything (again)! Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 20:21, 25 June 2012 (UTC)

Message

Hello! I wanted to congratulate you for your work on I Like You So Much Better When You're Naked (Grey's Anatomy). I was so upset when the episode articles were deleted! I wanted to ask you how can I restore an article? I want to start working on "Wishin' and Hoping". I also have a curiosity. I am trying to understand the process of getting an article to FA. What more do you have to work on on Grey's Anatomy, before nominating for FA? Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 18:28, 27 June 2012 (UTC)

Hey! Thank you, I just created the article, and nominated for DYK, and plan to take it to GA. To restore an article, go to the page (this is the page for wishin hopin), and just erase the redirect, adding content. Since all our WP:Grey's articles are standard, model the article off of I Like You So Much Better When You're Naked. As for FA, there is barely anything left to do for Grey's Anatomy. The peer reviewer said that Rumiton didn't do enough, so I have been trying to find a copyeditor, and I just got a reply today. Also, I have to go through the references, and standardize them. Finally, I keep adding last minute things that I forgot. (ie. Grey's Anatomy the ipad app was just added today). Also, I want to add info on Shonda Rhimes' twitter, but don't know where to put it. TRLIJC19 (talk) 18:35, 27 June 2012 (UTC)

GAN

Have reviewed Owen Hunt. TBrandley 01:34, 28 June 2012 (UTC)

All issues addressed, except one; which I disagree with. TRLIJC19 (talk) 02:12, 28 June 2012 (UTC)

Hi. When you recently edited I Like You So Much Better When You're Naked (Grey's Anatomy), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jesse Williams (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi! I restored the page, and I was wondering whether you could write the summary. It's been a while since I've watched the episode. I would be extremely grateful! I am currently working on the Production and the Reception sections. Looking forward to restoring all the episode articles, and eventually getting them to GA! Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 17:32, 28 June 2012 (UTC)

Sure! I'm currently cleaning up citations at Grey's Anatomy, but I should be done in an hour or so, and will work on the plot. TRLIJC19 (talk) 17:35, 28 June 2012 (UTC)
Thanks! Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 17:40, 28 June 2012 (UTC)

Curiosity

I've just seen that Owen Hunt was promoted to GA, but there doesn't seem to be a review in the article's talk page. Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 19:38, 28 June 2012 (UTC)

Never mind. It wasn't transcluded. Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 19:40, 28 June 2012 (UTC)

Request

Hello, TRLIJC19! I would be tremendously thankful if you could expand the episode summaries from Grey's Anatomy (season 2) to 5-6 lines. I know you're busy with getting Grey's Anatomy to FA, so I don't this to sound like I am somehow neglecting your efforts. Thank you, Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 04:45, 29 June 2012 (UTC)

Sure, I also have to do the Wishin and Hopin summaries for you. I have been working on citations for Grey's Anatomy all day (longer than I expected), but I'm nearly done. I should be able to get to both the episode, and the season episode summaries tomorrow. TRLIJC19 (talk) 04:47, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
Thank you so much! I have developed the Production and Ratings sections on Wishin' and Hopin' (Grey's Anatomy), and I am now working on Critical response, which should be done by tonight. Thanks again, Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 11:05, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
My July to-do list is something like this: First, I want to develop all the season 3 episode articles, promote them to GA, and then promote Grey's Anatomy (season 3) to Good Topic. Then, I'll continue my work on Grey's Anatomy (season 2), and I will develop the article similar to Grey's Anatomy (season 3), request copy editing and then request a peer review for it. I wanted to ask you how do I create a To-do list on my user page, like yours? Jonathan Harold Koszeghi (talk) 11:13, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
For July, I'd like to push seasons 1 and 6 episodes to GA, and develop good topics for those. Also, I'd like to develop Grey's season 6 to GA, so it could be part of the topic. In addition, I'd like to develop Yang, Burke, Karev, and Shepherd to GA, and get the four award for I Like You So Much Better When You're Naked. If you want, I can create the to do list template for you, and you can add to it. Let me know, TRLIJC19 (talk) 15:05, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
