Signpost comment

Hi, I hope you don't mind that I added a section heading and an explanatory note to your Signpst comment - at first sight I couldn't see what it had to do with Edina, and I thought I'd save other readers some effort by clarifying and describing the source. PamD 13:40, 12 February 2015 (UTC)

Thanks. --Surturz (talk) 02:46, 13 February 2015 (UTC)

Seems Abbott is Australia's Bush lol... what a laughing stock Australia is, what a shame. For all the faults of the US electoral system, at least their presidential primaries see incompetents and extremes like Abbott crash and burn. Timeshift (talk) 16:11, 12 February 2015 (UTC)

Still think "the left" is underestimating Abbott? Do you seriously think Abbott can last until the next election, and, win it? The Manager Of Government Business is accusing the Prime Minister of branch-stacking the SSM vote! What a shambles! Oh the lulz. He's trying all the dog whistling he can think of but it just simply ain't 2001 anymore! Polls stuck around 54-46 to Labor. No govt has come out of this level of deep and extended poll rut and survived. Gawn!! Timeshift (talk) 02:27, 14 August 2015 (UTC)

This is to inform you that an attempt is being made to overturn an RfC that you voted on (2 RfCs, actually, one less than six months ago and another a year ago). The new RfC is at:

Wikipedia:Village pump (policy)#RfC: Allow private schools to be characterized as non-affiliated as well as religious, in infobox?

Specifically, it asks that "religion = none" be allowed in the infobox.

The first RfC that this new RfC is trying to overturn is:

The result of that RfC was "unambiguously in favour of omitting the parameter altogether for 'none' " and despite the RfC title, additionally found that "There's no obvious reason why this would not apply to historical or fictional characters, institutions etc.", and that nonreligions listed in the religion entry should be removed when found "in any article".

The second RfC that this new RfC is trying to overturn is:

The result of that RfC was that the "in all Wikipedia articles, without exception, nonreligions should not be listed in the Religion= parameter of the infobox.".

Note: I am informing everyone who commented on the above RfCs, whether they supported or opposed the final consensus. --Guy Macon (talk) 03:38, 26 June 2017 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Thor actor

Hello Surturz,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Thor actor for deletion, because it doesn't appear to contain any encyclopedic content. Take a look at our suggestions for essential content in short articles to learn what should be included.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Morrison disruptive editing

I have asked you multiple times on the Talk:Scott Morrison page but I will ask you here again. Do not undo my edits which are constructive to the article. Check WP:DE and see what you are undoing. There is an active discussion also happening on the talk page about the phrasing, hence the dubious tag I placed in the article. Please contribute there with some correct policies before undoing my work again or you will have violated WP:3RR. CalDoesIt (talk) 06:37, 16 May 2020 (UTC)

Just following up on my comment on WP:ANEW, do not revert on the article again or you will be blocked. Once there is a consensus on the talk page, the page can be modified accordingly. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 12:17, 16 May 2020 (UTC)

I have participated in the discussion with @Surturz: and @CalDoesIt: and followed your direction in this matter @Callanecc:. The article has sourced "praise" and some balance criticism. The matter seems to be resolved at the moment. Erasmus Sydney (talk) 03:10, 17 May 2020 (UTC)
