- Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or sock puppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! [edit]Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Murder of Dr. Melissa Ketunuti. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. The Bushranger One ping only 00:32, 26 January 2013 (UTC)

Changing your username
[edit]Rather than just post to one person's talk page, it's best to post on the right page to change your user name. That one person could be at work, out or unavailable for a period of time. They are a volunteer, just like you. Your best bet is to go to the simple change username page. Follow the directions and they should get the name changed in a day or so. Do not get upset if people try to delete the article because they mistakenly think that it is just another murder. (They don't know that of the hundreds of murders in the area, few are covered so heavily as this one. It is not a "just news"). I've tried to improve the writing on the article but think that in the end, the article will be killed, just like Dr. Ketunuti. Gravelocator (talk) 05:45, 27 January 2013 (UTC)
