This is your Talk page where you can receive messages from other Wikipedians and discuss things with them. At the end of your messages you should always enter your signature by signing with four ~~~~ or by pressing the button in the editor shown here in the picture. By the way, it is not necessary to sign edits that you make in the articles themselves as those messages will be deleted. My name is Brendon. If you have any questions or face any initial hurdles, post {{helpme|your question}} on your talk page (this page), someone will quickly come up and attend to your query. And also, feel free to contact me on my talk page and I will do what I can to assist. Good Luck Editing! Brendon ishere 12:26, 8 May 2012 (UTC)

Tips on your user page
[edit]First thing first,
- Do you like your user-page, Sully1865?
If yes, then cool . Ignore the rest of the message.
However, if you don't like it and want to make it look even better, then follow these steps (and in that case, I'm happy to help):
- Open your your user page.
- Click "edit this page"/"edit" (above) to edit the page
- Add -
{{New user bar}}
or{{New user bar|Image name of your choice}}
above everything else in the content area of that page (whatever you write below and the Image, if any, will be shown under the section "About me"). - click "show preview" (below)
- Now, if you like it, click "save page" (below).
- In case you cannot find the buttons
Here are some codes that might help, the codes work on internet explorer and other browsers like Mozilla firefox, google chrome too. If they don't work try clicking ↵ Enter after pressing the keys of code.
- ⇧ Shift+alt+e - "Edit the page"
- ⇧ Shift+alt+p - "Show Preview"
- ⇧ Shift+alt+s - "save page"
Note:
- Mac OS X-users must hold control (in stead of ⇧ Shift+alt), and press the desired access key (e, p or s), I guess.
- If these keys don't work by themselves press ↵ Enter after them without changing the order, to initiate the intended process.
I hope this helps. Brendon ishere 12:26, 8 May 2012 (UTC)

- Hi there,
- There’s one thing I cannot understand, and you may be able to explain the reason for it. There are thousands of sport teams with published pages on Wikipedia, here are just some examples of local amateur teams based near to where I live in Ireland:
- https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adare_GAA
- https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Granagh-Ballingarry_GAA
- https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Askeaton_GAA
- https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Croom_GAA
- Now the last club page there for Croom GAA, has almost no references at all, yet there it is, live and published. My rejected page by comparison has solid references from proper publications.
- So my question is, how are these clubs pages getting published, while my club’s page is rejected? What are they doing that I am not? Should I be looking to change this page to a stub? Would appreciate any help/advice you can give me.
- Kind Regards,
- Colm Sully1865 (talk) 00:11, 15 February 2023 (UTC)
License tagging for File:CroaghGAA.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:CroaghGAA.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 17:30, 6 August 2023 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:CroaghGAA.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:CroaghGAA.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
