DYK question

Hi. I've reviewed your nomination. There's just one point I think could be clarified: do you know what ultimately happened to the publication - when and how/why it ceased publication ? Aridd (talk) 18:17, 2 February 2012 (UTC)

All right. If the information were available, it would have been very useful to include, but if there's simply no information then obviously there's nothing to be done about that. Having the article in itself is already useful, of course! Aridd (talk) 22:17, 2 February 2012 (UTC)

Hi. In your recent article edits, you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Afd and PROD notifications

Hey Soman. Back in November, you got either an AfD or PROD notification, and it was during one of the template testing project's experiments. If you could go here and leave us some feedback about what you think about the new versions of the templates we tested (there are links on the page), that would be very useful. (You can also email me at swalling@wikimedia.org if you want.) Thanks! Steven Walling (WMF) • talk 22:09, 17 February 2012 (UTC)

Ba'athism

Hey, since you wrote the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party of Lebanon article, I'm wondering if you know anything about the Organization of the Ba'ath Party? It was either the Palestinian branch of the Syrian-led Ba'ath Party, or an earlier form of the Lebanese ba'ath. Do you know anything about this? And a question, since you wrote the Socialist Arab Lebanon Vanguard Party, is Abd al-Majid al-Rafi, the dude who was elected to parliament in the 1970s, still party leader of the pro-Iraqi branch? That doesn't make sense to me, he has to be around 60, 70 or 80 at most. --TIAYN (talk) 22:44, 18 February 2012 (UTC)

Sorry, but I reverted you're move at the Revolution(ary) Youth Union article.. Direct translation does not always been the de jure name, also, its seem to me that the RYU doesn't have a de jure English name. Since most books (I've searched) use the term Revolutionary Youth League and not Revolution I moved. I'm following WP:COMMONNAME. but I may be wrong (as I am wrong many times....) But you seem to be more knowledgeable on the Ba'athist topic then me, so please, argue against me. --TIAYN (talk) 22:09, 22 February 2012 (UTC)
