Peasant Leagues

Hi, thanks for moving the peasant leagues article to Peasant Leagues (Brazil), your were right to do so. However, the peasant leagues were numerous semi-autonomous organizations and I do not think that the title should suggest that there was a single official "Peasant League movement" like the Tea Party movement in the United States which would necessitate a proper noun, and I have not seen it capitalized in such a way in any of the sources I have consulted. However, I am not certain about what the naming conventions here on Wikipedia are, so I may be in the wrong. Would it be proper to move the article to Peasant leagues (Brazil)? I am also not sure if the plural should be used. Maybe Peasant league (Brazil)? Eladynnus (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 16:46, 4 August 2011 (UTC).

A tag has been placed on Narayan Prasad Adhikari requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 16:47, 10 August 2011 (UTC)

Why?

Are you not an admin?--Cerejota (talk) 13:41, 15 August 2011 (UTC)

Thanks. I was nominated once, but that nom didn't go through. --Soman (talk) 01:25, 16 August 2011 (UTC)
Except for a few obvious meatpuppets, some of the opposition, in particular in Neutral, seems legit. Why you do not participate more on the policy side?--Cerejota (talk) 01:35, 16 August 2011 (UTC)

I fear the book you quote is wrong, there is an article of the Belgian historian Maxime Steinberg (1936-2010), who can be considered as trustworthy, where he wrote that the Confédération syndicale belge was founded in Liège indeed, but in 1908: Les contacts entre syndicalistes révolutionnaires et indépendants aboutirent, à partir d'un bureau provisoire, au congrès constitutif de la « Confédération Syndicale Belge », le 19 avril 1908, à Liège.
