Bitch and Moan

[edit]

Vandalise away! Tell me why you hate me or why you love me. I want to know it all! :D

Adoption request

[edit]

Hi Snodawg! I will gladly accept your adoption offer. Since we're both in the UK its much more convenient. To finish this off, replace your adoption template tag {{adoptme}} on your userpage with the following: {{adoptee|Marbles333}}.

While I remember, when you write to talk pages, can you please sign your comments by simply typing ~~~~ at the end of your comment, so it can be authorised that its you (it automatically provides a link to your userpage). Thanks - feel free to ask me anything you wish, Marbles 15:32, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Problems

[edit]

Yeah sure. If you have any problems, you can of course write them on my talk page, or via email/MSN if you'd like me to provide you with my address. Fire away - happy editing! Marbles 16:57, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've sent you my Email credentials. Tip: when you're writing to talk pages, if you want to continue discussing the same topic, instead of writing a new section, click edit this page, and go down to that comment. Hit return under the last comment, and type a : and then your message. This indents each comment, like I am now, and if you want to comment on an already indented comment, write ::, then to write again to that comment, start your next one with ::: and so on. I've removed the dead link to Media Production on your edited userbox - hope you don't mind! You don't have to use the full userbox code you know, just the template like you have for {{User:MiraLuka/Userboxes/User bisexual}}. Ciao Marbles 18:49, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I see! Being picky again - can you please have a link to your userpage in your signature, i.e. leave the "Raw signature" tickbox unchecked and you can just type a nickname instead of your user account name, like I do. Either that or use the full HTML. Sorry to nitpick again. Have fun! Marbles 10:54, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Good to see you acting like to remove that advertisement status on Reggae Reggae Sauce. Have you yet any idea in what you specialise in on Wikipedia? Not that there's any need to, its just many people have an area where they make most edits and then find it much easier to make a lot more edits. Just thoughts Marbles 16:29, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Spoken article

[edit]

Hi. I've noticed that you appear to have been working on converting the article Krazy Kat into a spoken version for over six months now, according to your entry on the In Progress section of Wikiproject Spoken Wikipedia under your previous name of snodawg. If you are no longer working on the article, please either remove yourself from the list, or notify me so I can do so, so other editors will know they can work on the article instead. If you don't reply within a week, I will assume you are no longer working on the article. Cheers, H4cksaw (talk) 21:57, 6 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Check-up

[edit]

Hello Fox, is everything okay? You seem to have made some edits lately after a bit of a gap. You know if you need any help you can always ask myself or anyone else. On that topic, you do seem to have grasped a lot of the features and methods of Wikipedia, and if feel anytime soon you'd like to "graduate" (as it is called) from adoption status, just drop me a line. Hope all is well /Marbles 20:59, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Skunk Fu! (List) Error

[edit]

Thanks for the info Mathias. I consider that it may be something to do with your browser - have you for example, done things like clear your cache of stored pages? I know when I used to use Firefox on Linux (my home system), a lot of pages on Wiki used to look a little bogged up. IIRC, I am pretty sure you can get IE for Mac if you are running OS X. Have you tried getting this and seeing whether it makes a difference? I must admit, I know practically (censored) all about Macs, since the first (and only) one I had went out of my apartment window 6 days after I got it. It might be worth looking into clearing your cache, so that you see the new pages first, instead of the cached versions. You have told me everything I need to know, so let me know how you get on! The article John Sage has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

at most a tenuous connection with reality

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
