Lawrence Matloff
[edit]Lawrence Matloff(1926-1988) was an American social worker who the executive vice president of of Selfhelp Community Services, which is a geriatric and home care agency located in New York.[1]
He was born in Flushing in 1926 to immigrant parents and was the youngest of your brothers. All four brothers later fought in World War II, and all four of them survived. He later earned a bachelor's degree from New York University and later a master's from Columbia University. He met his wife, Hildegard, a few years later and they had had two daughters, Susan(1957) and Judith(1958). In 1969, he began to work a variety of positions at Selfhelp. In 1988 he had a heart attack as he was getting out of bed.
