Sorry, I didn't grasp the technical details. Fernandez has published numerous papers in the leading journals (Nature, PNAS), he was member in influential international peer review committees (National Science Foundation, NIH, Advisory committe of the Volkswagen Stiftung ..., invited speaker at the top conferences (including the Nobel Institute for Chemistry, Stockholm).
