Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 17:21, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps you should ask the new users recruited from the Star Pirates game to confine themselves to editing the article, and refrain from making personal attacks on my talk page. There is a term on wikipedia for people who are recruited from outside for the purpose of coming into wikipedia to support one side of a discussion, and I'd say that its pretty blatant in this instance. Meatpuppetry will not help your case. Asking people to edit the article in an attempt to improve it is one thing, getting a bunch of new editors to dogpile in on an AfD discussion is quite another. Getting them to sign up for accounts and learning to sign their posts would help some. Advocating they adopt the mindset of doing what is right for WikiPedia as opposed to "saving the Star Pirates article" would help more. Even StarBaby5 agrees that if the article doesn't meet criteria it shouldn't exist. It appears that your only interest is in keeping the article no matter what and gathering as much evidence as you can to support your position, without examining if your position is correct in the first place.

Also, in reference to the McMaster article, in skimming it, its pretty clear that the subject of the article is SHG, not Star Pirates. SP is mentioned, but is not the subject of the article. As such, I think it provides evidence supporting Snakehead Games notability, but not Star Pirates, as you claim.Quasi Montana (talk) 18:55, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Username Change

[edit]

In support of an effort to protect SHG's Intellectual Property I have changed my username and, with StarBaby5's agreement and support (see discussion on our talk pages) I am attempting to remove all references to it, I ask your permission to delete the section on the SP AfD page where it is used. The comment is not relevant to the discussion, and while I could easily collapse it under the "Allegations of off-wiki conduct/personal attacks are not acceptable for Articles for deletion.", it wouldn't remove the reference to my former username from the page at all.

I would also ask that you consider my suggestion on StarBaby5's talk page regarding a Snakehead Games page, I have changed my vote to support this notion, but leave the creation of the page and its development to those other than myself. I would caution you use moderation regarding the amount of content, by its nature the page will be open to accusations of WP:VSCA, not an ideal solution from the perspective of some I know, but perhaps the best possible consensus given the current Notability guidelines and SP's current notability. As I've stated already, I think the McMaster and Hamilton articles support the notability of SHG, and perhaps the experienced Wiki editors who previously voted to Delete could be persuaded to join us there. I did not consider this until thinking further on my above comment regarding the McMaster and Hamilton articles Quasi Montana (talk) 00:57, 16 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
