Speedy deletion nomination of Van Royal Hotel
[edit]You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.
Thank you.
A tag has been placed on Van Royal Hotel, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an acceptable page. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this page is not blatant advertising, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You are welcome to edit the page to fix this problem, but please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. As well as removing promotional phrasing, it helps to add factual encyclopaedic information to the page, and add citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the page will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Mean as custard (talk) 15:02, 22 April 2015 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Moustafa Darwish
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Moustafa Darwish requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from www.archyde.com/the-funeral-of-mustafa-darwish-a-look-into-the-life-of-the-late-egyptian-actor/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Onel5969 TT me 19:34, 24 May 2023 (UTC)
Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]Hello Shaween! While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 19:47, 24 May 2023 (UTC)
Bayoumi Fouad moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Bayoumi Fouad, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe, and currently has zero. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 11:23, 29 May 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Mullah Yasin, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Wikishovel (talk) 12:54, 17 October 2023 (UTC)
- Dear, i had give reasons for removing the template message and the reason was that i had solve the issue as mentioned.. Shaween (talk) 12:57, 17 October 2023 (UTC)
- The article is still highly promotional. I can help you fix the problem, if you like. Wikishovel (talk) 13:00, 17 October 2023 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Nma Nariman, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Wikishovel (talk) 12:11, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
- dear
- i did edit the content and add citation to it if you noticed that..
- can you mention the problem, so i can solve it..
- thanks in advance Shaween (talk) 13:14, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
- The citation you added did not WP:Verify what you wrote. Wikishovel (talk) 13:15, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
Hello, Shaween, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Edite for Good (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. Wikishovel (talk) 13:15, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
- dear
- I just have one account named Shaween and using just my laptop.. i have no idea who is editing this.. this is not me.
- i am focusing on living persons in my country who has impact on the society..
- thanks for help and welcoming any advice to enrich my articles. Shaween (talk) 13:25, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
- The article message sugegests to add external links, i had added external links such as (website) ...etc. but it has been deleted , i donot know why.
- please advice.. Shaween (talk) 13:33, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
- The article message, which the account Edite for Good removed, not the Shaween account, says that the article is an orphan, and needs links from other Wikipedia articles, not external links.
- It's quite obvious that you are either using two accounts, or that you are coordinating edits with another person who edits as User:Edite for Good. I must ask you to please stop, or you will get blocked from editing by an administrator. Wikishovel (talk) 13:40, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
- dear
- As i mentioned before, i have no idea about the other account, and i conform that i am responsible for my own account only..
- furthermore, i just want to complete my articles according to the rules and regulations..
- i welcome any help from your side to do this. Shaween (talk) 14:01, 24 October 2023 (UTC)

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}
to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:47, 28 November 2023 (UTC)
The article Nma Nariman has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Dclemens1971 (talk) 17:44, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
