Native American sculptors perhaps you would consider doing an article on Cliff Fragua, who created the statue of Popé that's New Mexico's second statue in the National Statuary Whatever. Zoo photos

Thank you for adding so many photos to zoo articles. We have a lot of articles that need them. However, at least for articles that have a WikiProject Zoo banner, please do not remove the photo request tag if the photos being added are just closeups of animals at the zoo. The photo requests (at least if I wrote them) are for "photos of the XYZ Zoo." Although we also include pictures of animals in zoo articles (and I will not be removing any of the photos you are posting), these articles are about the zoo, not specific animals, and we need at least some photos that show what the zoo looks like. Until we get at least one such photo, we would like to keep the photo request.

I will be going through all of these articles and creating categories in Commons if necessary, and adding links to these categories in the zoo articles. This will also give me the chance to reassess the articles (some are basically just C-class articles waiting for photos), and do some other unrelated infrastructure cleanup (formatting, units, etc.). And, where , where the photo is a closeup of an animal, and not of the zoo.

I would like to particularly thank you for the photos of the Naples Zoo (Caribbean Gardens). Both photos show a wider context, and I've been waiting until our next trip to Florida (probably not until next year) to get some photos and turn this into a C-class article. I discovered this sentence

in the Monument article. As my "go to" editor in Washington I am wondering how it sounds to you.

The Washington Monument's location (and vertical geometry, though not physical detail) was conceived to help organize public space in the city before it was ever connected with George Washington.

yes, location of a monument by L'enfant while washington was still alive. after his death much history of design changes and subscription (not enough money to complete) will look for source. inartful description of design in sentence. obelisks were all the rage. Categories

Hi, I really appreciate and applaud the new articles you've created for Native artists. And I completely support organizing Native artists by media. Subdividing those further by country and century seem a little excessive, but I can live with that. However, "traditional" and "contemporary" are too subjective to be effective categorizing tools – they mean wildly different things to different people. Since you were dividing categories by century, at least that would be consistent (21st-century artists would be by most definitions "contemporary" – although some people use this to mean working in a Western art media; usually it's post-WWII or post-1960s/post-modern). You haven't answered any questions from Talk:Contemporary North American Indigenous artists. It seems you are generating what will become dozens of small categories simply to correspond to the template. Hello, I'm a Belgian citizen and I found you in the "Art" discussion page", I would like to ask you some help concerning a wikipedia article about the artist ben heine: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Ben_Heine. Please let me know how I can do to improve this article or to have someone do it as I really find it difficult to edit stuff properly on Wikipedia, I can't do it myself... I've been following Ben Heine's work for many years, may I mention that the current article is a text that appeared on Wikipedia in 2006 and that reflects what he did in that time only. He has totally changed and evolved. He has made many more things since then. He is a globally appreciated artist and he needs a better bio. There aren't so many criticisms about him. The article isn't fair, it REALLY NEEDS MANY UPDATES and contains strong mistakes about the artist. Many well known national newspapers and magazines have talked about him and his work recently (see a non exhaustive list here below), none of them is even mentioned in the current article. He has stopped making political art since more than 2 years. Please just consider these publications, most of them are a few days/weeks old only... Daily Mail, The Telegraph, El Pais, Repubblica, De Standaard... These AREN'T blogs!!! These are national papers read by millions of people.

Please have a look to the following list of errors in the current article (which I detailed here below, and which I'll mention to several other admins if needed and if not taken into account).

List of important errors in the current article about Ben Heine:

1) Ben isn't a political artist anymore, it's true he used to make political art accusing Israel of "crimes against humanity", but he stopped making such illustrations in 2009 and wrote an "[[open letter to the Jewish Community]]" in December 2010 apologizing about his past behavior (saying it was the influences of his studies in Journalism. Parts of his final assignment talked about the "limits of freedom of expression in cartoons"). In this letter, he also firmly condemned the infamous Iranian Holocaust cartoon contest and said he was feeling deeply guilty about it. Here is the letter translated in English (Google translator). Ben doesn't deny the Holocaust, he visited Auschwitz Birkenau and feels sincerely sorry about the past suffering of the Jewish community.

2) Ben doesn't contribute to these websites anymore: DonQuichotte, MWC News, Rebelion, Tlaxcala, Irancartoon, Syriacartoon, Arabcartoon, Persiancartoon, Karikaturevi, Azercartoon, Dessin d'humour, National Caricaturist Network (Ben has explicitly asked these sites to remove all his illustrations from their platforms)

3) Ben doesn't collaborate with "La Libre Belgique" Anymore. Only 4 or 5 of his old cartoons have been published in this newspaper (in 2006 and 2007).

4) Pencil Vs Camera is not just a "little detail" in his biography, it is a creative and original series that has generated some huge reactions on the web and in the written press (see a non exhaustive list below). It is such an innovation that several TV channels around the world have also talked about it: Globo - Brazil, TV Brussel - Belgium, and many others). Same for "Digital Circlism"...

5) "Pere Ubu" (one of the main newspapers that clearly accused Heine in Belgium has removed the accusation from their site

6) Most of the links in the "notes" section (expecially the url's linking to images on Ben's blog) do not work...

7) Ben removed from his sites (blog, flickr, Deviantart and official site) all his cartoons accusing Israel or any Israeli person (Avigdor Lieberman...).

8) He didn't participate "recently" to the Kruger Workshop. This event happened in 2006!

So, I really hope you'll aknowledge that 90% of the article is based on inaccurate facts... I would like to see a real neutral article about that artist.
