York Road Library and public baths
[edit]Why was your first posting of this article deleted? Copyvio. What have you done about fixing the copyvio? Nothing. So why should you be allowed to repost it. What you must do is:
Go to your page at flickr and:
- Correct the spelling and capitalisation of the first sentence from User:Samhirst87/sandbox
- Add to the bottom of the page "This text is released under the GFDL and Wikipedia is explicitly allowed to use".
Then and only then, you may tidy up the article here and copy it to York Road Library and public baths (note the capitalisation).
It is a perfectly notable subject and the text is almost encyclopedic, but we must do things properly. Also, why not upload one or two of your pictures to the Commons? -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 15:13, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
Mucky owl
[edit]Re the caption for the Mosaic: anyone from Leeds is brought up with them but for the benfit of people from far away places like Hull or Halifax, you should point out that there are three owls on the Leeds coat of arms and hence owls abound in the city's iconography. -- RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 15:37, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
Listed?
[edit]I could not find the library and baths in Images of England. A link to the page on Images of England would be useful. It has grid reference SE317336 - yes? (link link)
