Hi, and welcome to the London Transport WikiProject! We're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of London's transport system.
A few features that you might find helpful:
- You may want to join or create a task force which attempts to drive the improvement of articles within a smaller scope.
- The project also provides templates to help you make the perfect article.
There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:
- Starting some new articles? Our article structure tips outlines some things to include.
- Want to know how good our articles are? The assessment department is working on rating the quality of every London transport article in Wikipedia.
- You can vote for the London Transport portal's selected article and selected image of the month here.
- Submit your interesting London Transport facts at Portal:London Transport/Did you know for our portal.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask another fellow member, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around!

Your RfA
Hello. I've removed your RfA from the RfA page because it isn't properly formatted. Please complete the required information before relisting. Cheers, Pascal.Tesson 21:46, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
- Oh. I just took a look at the current state of your RfA request. I hate to break the news but I recommend forgetting about RfA for now. You simply don't have enough experience on Wikipedia and I am absolutely certain that your nomination will fail right now. Please do continue to contribute and perhaps get involved in some form of Wikipedia maintenance like vandal fighting, deletion debates, village pump discussions and so on. Then you can think of applying in a few months. Cheers, Pascal.Tesson 21:52, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
- You're welcome. RfA can be a pretty grueling process and it can be depressing for enthusiastic candidates like yourself to live through a bloodbath of "Oppose, not nearly enough experience" (see e.g. this recently failed RfA). If you watch every now and then the RfA page, you will get a better sense of what the standards are. Cheers, Pascal.Tesson 22:02, 21 May 2007 (UTC)
{{Austin-stub}}
Hi - I see you have recently created a new stub type. As it states at Wikipedia:Stub, at the top of most stub categories, and in many other places on Wikipedia, it is recommended that new stub types are proposed prior to creation at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals, in order to check whether the new stub type is already covered by existing stub types, whether it is named according to stub naming guidelines, whether it reaches the standard threshold for creation of a new stub type, and whether it crosses existing stub type hierarchies. Your new stub type is currently listed at WP:WSS/D - please feel free to make any comments there as to any rationale for this stub type. And please, in future, consider proposing new stub types first! Grutness...wha? 00:06, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
- You wrote: I moved "Austin-stub" to "Austin-TX-stub". This is my first stub template, so I didn't know that a proposal was necessary. I couldn't move the category, but I put it under Texas stubs. I wish you hadn't moved the template! As I said at WP:WSS/D, it should be at AustinTX-stub - not Austin-TX-stub, since it isn't a subtype of TX-stub (there is no such thing as TX-stub). Please leave any changes until it's decided what should be done with the stub! Grutness...wha? 02:43, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
- So, should I move it to AustinTX-stub? No. Please don't change the stub at all until it has had a chance to be discussed! Once the discussion is sorted out, any changes will be made by WP:WSS - basically that's the same process as the debating process that should have happened before the stub was made, but with the addition of having to delete/undo any work already done on it. Changing names across during any discussion simply adds more complications and work for later. It could be, for instance, that someone will point out a better name for the stub template, or suggest that it would be better for use for the area around Austin rather than just the city itself. Grutness...wha? 01:39, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

Hi, I'd like to draw your attention to Bangladesh portal. I have tried to address the concerns in earlier peer review and checked the portal against Featured portal criteria. Based on this I think it is proper time to push for Featured Portal status for Bangladesh Portal, which will be an important milestone for WikiProject Bangladesh. But to achieve this I need help from you. Please participate in the on-going discussion on the talk page and give me your valuable inputs.-Arman Aziz 03:57, 3 August 2007 (UTC)

Admin coaching
Will you please coach me? I have been looking for a coach for a while. If you don't want to, it's okay. Æetlr Creejl 00:34, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- Hi. Sure. Do you want to work on a per case basis (assisting) or something like more formal (theoretical)? -- FayssalF - Wiki me up® 01:58, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- I don't understand what you mean. Æetlr Creejl 02:02, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- Would you like practicing by assisting and advising me (cases i am working on) or would you like to make it more formal like going through explaining policies and guidelines. It depends on your level of understanding adminship and your experience in wikipedia. -- FayssalF - Wiki me up® 02:10, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- I'd like the latter. Æetlr Creejl 02:12, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- Cool. I see that you have been a Wikipedian for almost 2 years so i assume you have the minimum understanding of the policies and guidelines (p&g). In this case, i'll leave the choice of the starting point to you. -- FayssalF - Wiki me up® 02:25, 21 October 2007 (UTC)
- I'd like to learn the basics of calming disputes and "staying cool when the editing gets hot". Æetlr Creejl 02:37, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Little context in Maranzhe
Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Maranzhe, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Maranzhe is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles.
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Maranzhe, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. WP:RUSSIA roll call and your input required
Privet. You are receiving this message as you were listed on the membership list of WP:RUSSIA at Wikipedia:WikiProject Russia/Members. Recent times has seen minimal activity within WikiProject Russia, and there is an attempt to re-invigorate the project and have it become more organised into a fully-fledge functioning project, with the aim of increasing the quality of Russia-related articles across English wikipedia.
As we don't know which listed members are active within the project and Russia-related article, all listed members are receiving this message, and are requested to re-affirm their active status on Russia-related article by re-adding their username to Wikipedia:WikiProject Russia/Members by adding:
# {{User|YOURUSERNAME}}
to the membership list. You may also like to place {{User Russian Project}} on your userpage, as this will also place you in Category:WikiProject Russia members.
There is also an active proposal on the creation of a single WP:RUSSIA project. The proposal can be viewed at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Russia#Proposal_for_overhaul_and_creation_of_a_single_WP:RUSSIA_project, and your comments and suggestions are welcomed and encouraged at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Russia/Proposal.
We all look forward to your continued support of WP:RUSSIA and any comments you may have on the proposal. --Russavia Dialogue Stalk me 04:32, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

Can you please tell me how to conjugate رآى in the imperfect? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sahmeditor (talk • contribs)

- I got it from Wiktionary - it may have been a typo. I am indeed referring to the verb "to see". Æetlr Creejl 20:45, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
- In Arabic, the imperfect usually expresses an action in the present tense. There are several vowel patterns (a-a, a-w (u), a-y (i)) the root can take. The root takes a prefix as well as a suffix to build the verb's form. What follows if the conjugation of the verb:
