WikiProject Wikify Discussion Invitation
Hi there! You are receiving this message because you are a participant of WikiProject Wikify. After the retirements of our first two executive coordinators, Mono and Guoguo12, WikiProject Wikify is undergoing a period of transition. We are currently holding a discussion to create a plan for the future, find volunteers to help fill our many administrative positions, collect any feedback about what has happened in the last six months, propose some new guidelines, and see if there are any creative ideas to increase participation. We appreciate your input! |

Completely new abortion proposal and mediation
In light of the seemingly endless disputes over their respective titles, a neutral mediator has crafted a proposal to rename the two major abortion articles (pro-life/anti-abortion movement, and pro-choice/abortion rights movement) to completely new names. The idea, which is located here, is currently open for opinions. As you have been a contributor in the past to at least one of the articles, your thoughts on the matter would be appreciated.
The hope is that, if a consensus can be reached on the article titles, the energy that has been spent debating the titles of the articles here and here can be better spent giving both articles some much needed improvement to their content. Please take some time to read the proposal and weigh in on the matter. Even if your opinion is simple indifference, that opinion would be valuable to have posted. Found a site for speedy deletion
Hi Safety Cap (like your name) I came back to WP after few good years. I found an article as a blatant advertising. Could you please have a look at it? The name of the article is Adzuna.
Thanks Filtertips (talk) 21:46, 23 July 2011 (UTC)
- Hi Filtertips - Looks like it was already taken care of :) Please know that you're always welcome to mark a page for deletion yourself. — Safety Cap (talk) 00:59, 26 July 2011 (UTC)
Avian Humanoids
Hi,
I added some information to the page on Avian Humanoids and it was removed. I don't know why this was done since I didn't make it up, and if you doubt it, you should look it up before removing the information.
What I had originally added was the Gyrkyme, which are found in Fortress Draconis, the first book in Michael A. Stackpole's DragonCrown War Cycle. I believe the most relevant passages are on pages 113 and 122. You can find this book on googlebooks : http://books.google.com/books?id=z_Ir2sVJEwUC&printsec=frontcover&dq=fortress+draconis&hl=en&src=bmrr&ei=mCwuTuH_OIj00gGZ2b28AQ&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=1&ved=0CCkQ6AEwAA#v=onepage&q&f=false
And I remembered another avian humanoid race from another series, Age of the Five by Trudi Canavan. They are called the Siyee, and appear in the first book of the series, Priestess of the White. ---- — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.81.232.175 (talk) 03:13, 26 July 2011 (UTC)
- I removed it because there was no citation, thus your changes were not verifiable. What actually caught my eye was when the citation was removed. Did you mean to do that? —Safety Cap (talk) 19:43, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
Hi, I thought mentioning the book and author would be enough, since i couldn't get the citation to work. I even tried following the instructions on the link it gives when the citation is wrong, but I still couldnt get it to work. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.81.232.175 (talk) 19:26, 1 August 2011 (UTC)

Formal mediation has been requested
The Mediation Committee has received a request for formal mediation of the dispute relating to "Opposition to the legalisation of abortion". As an editor concerned in this dispute, you are invited to participate in the mediation. Mediation is a voluntary process which resolves a dispute over article content by facilitation, consensus-building, and compromise among the involved editors. After reviewing the request page, the formal mediation policy, and the guide to formal mediation, please indicate in the "party agreement" section whether you agree to participate. Because requests must be responded to by the Mediation Committee within seven days, please respond to the request by November 30, 2011.
Discussion relating to the mediation request is welcome at the case talk page. Thank you.

Hello, Safety Cap … In case you've stopped watching it, Shahzad A. Rizvi (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views) has grown into an atrocious piece of vanispamcruftisement, mostly written by a WP:SPA either related to, or actually the subject himself. Do you feel (like me) that this should go to WP:AfD? Happy Editing! — 70.21.24.28 (talk · contribs) 16:50, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
- I reviewed the edit history of that article—yikes—and the contributions of the account. The user's account has only been editing the article, so I don't think there can be any doubt of WP:SPA. Despite the cleanup notice of BLP Sources and Notability, neither has been provided. I'm going to vote for WP:AfD. Thanks — Safety Cap (talk) 13:37, 9 August 2011 (UTC)
- Thnx! I just added my 2¢ worth. :-) — 70.21.24.28 (talk) 15:24, 9 August 2011 (UTC)
