Your contributed article, Cabinet of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Cabinet of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Cabinet of the United States. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Cabinet of the United States – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Nathan121212 (talk) 15:12, 21 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload new images. However, it appears that one or more of the images you have recently uploaded or added to an article, specifically User:Saad Awan 951/sandbox, may fail our non-free image policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted image of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free image criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. See WP:NFCC#9. --Stefan2 (talk) 21:54, 22 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Faizan. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! renames

[edit]

Hi, please stop renaming Pakistan ministry articles, the Ministries in question are called "Ministry of Communications", not "Pakistan Ministry of Communications", this is a standard naming convention to put the country in parens afterwards. I will be reverting these moves soon. thanks. --Obi-Wan Kenobi (talk) 16:33, 4 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Wikipelli. I noticed that you recently removed all content from Minister of Excise and Taxation (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), with this edit without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, I restored the page's content. ISI

[edit]

It's just a photo shared by the ISPR Facebook page, just like any other photo. That doesn't make it an official logo. If you look closely at it, it's an amateur emblem created by a fan. That's not what an official logo looks like. The ISI does not have any official logo, the official state emblem of Pakistan is normally used for government institutions including the ISI. And if the ISI really had a logo, we would know of it and it would be used in reliable sources, which include academic sources, news clippings, television, and official websites. There are zero authentic or reliable sources which have displayed an emblem like this anywhere. And also check out the image description given on the page of the emblem itself, where it says "UN-Official "fake" logo of the Inter Services Intelligence agency". Please remove it. [edit]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Inter-Services Intelligence. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. SMS Talk 20:10, 4 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Department of Agriculture, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Minister (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

More on moves

[edit]

Information icon Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Pervez Khattak administration. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains under way. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Since administration is not part of a proper name, it should not be capitalized. —C.Fred (talk) 05:31, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Department of Irrigation

[edit]

Hello Saad Awan 951,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Department of Irrigation for deletion, because it seems to be an article that was created in violation of a block or ban. Content created by banned users will be deleted immediately.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Vanjagenije (talk) 21:57, 27 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
