Company of Biologists
[edit]Hi SP-KP, I'm puzzled why Company of biologists redirects to List of British entomological publishers rather than to Company of Biologists. I know very little about this world. My daughter works in this field, so I was puzzled by redirect. Best, Mick gold (talk) 21:47, 23 October 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks, fast work! Mick gold (talk) 21:55, 23 October 2012 (UTC)
The article Red Kite feeding in Wales has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Despite having been here for 6 years, this article gives no indication that its subject is notable. No reliable sources given in references, nor found by me in my pre-nom search.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Dylanfromthenorth (talk) 17:48, 9 November 2012 (UTC)
Hollow Marsh Meadow
[edit]Thanks for butterfly info. I have updated the article. I went for a walk there this afternoon & wasn't surprised not to see any butterflies but the SSSI citation sheet still includes them.— Rod talk 19:49, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
Malformed RM
[edit]Hi SP-KP, I wanted to let you know that you didn't format your requested move of Buildings and architecture of Bristol properly, and it's going to prevent editors from weighing in. You'll want to move this content to the bottom of the talk page, in a new section called Requested move, and include your rationale and a signature. Without the signature, in particular, it doesn't show up in the right place at Wikipedia:Requested moves. I could do all of that except make the argument for you, and I'd rather let you make your argument before it becomes properly listed. I'm happy to help if you need a hand. --BDD (talk) 20:26, 1 December 2012 (UTC)
Ancient history
[edit]Hi SP-KP: I'm wondering if you can remember where you got the information to make this edit waaaaaaay back in 2005 or so. I can't find a single book anywhere — or anything online other than echo sites of Wikipedia — that refer to "Nyctyornithinae" or "Nyctyornithidae". Can you help?
