Fringe
Hey there. I really like this "Articles for Fringe episodes" initiative you've got going on. I'd love to help, Fringe being my favorite drama on TV, so if there's anything I can do, just ask! Great job! BobAmnertiopsis∴ChatMe! 01:22, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
- I've noticed that about Fringe articles too, but never had the (motivation/time/guts) to go and actually create them. I suck. Anyway, I received Season 2 on DVD for Christmas, so I know they have some featurettes about makings-of for some episodes, as well as assorted episode commentaries. I'll try and get pictures for all the current episode articles to start off with...that oughta make me feel accomplished for the time being. Also: Hooray for Minnesota! BobAmnertiopsis∴ChatMe! 03:01, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
- PS: I glanced over your list of articles created and really enjoyed your totally unsolicited branch from your regular royalty articles to these Fringe articles. So awesome. BobAmnertiopsis∴ChatMe! 03:01, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
- Quick update: a dull evening means that all of the Fringe articles except for three got screenshots. Said three didn't because I didn't like the ones that were available, so I'm going to watch the episodes and grab my own screenshots. Okay, cool. Stay warm, fellow Minnesotan. Television
Hi Ruby. I was the one that reviewed one of your DYKs for a Fringe episode. Just out of curiousity, do you like Firefly also? I noticed that a lot of people that like these kinds of shows like Firefly as well. Just curious! Nice work on the articles by the way, both the royalty articles and Fringe (now that's a contrast!).-RHM22 (talk) 01:32, 22 January 2011 (UTC)
- I might be able to write some summaries for Fringe episodes. My main problem is that I would probably not be able to remember everything that happened, so I would need to find some information online. If there are any particular episodes you need a summary for, let me know and I'll see what I can find.-RHM22 (talk) 03:24, 22 January 2011 (UTC)
- Hi again Ruby. I've left you a comment on the GA review for Brown Betty. I didn't review it, because I'm concerned that it might constitute a conflict of interest, since I've communicated with you outside of the article. I also made a few minor fixes. I don't believe that any of my edits changed anything important, but look them over and feel free to revert anything that doesn't look right when you get the chance. Good work on the article, by the way. I'm pretty confident that you'll get GA status on it.-RHM22 (talk) 13:33, 22 January 2011 (UTC)

The Firefly
Hi Ruby. I just wanted to let you know that I added a fair use image to The Firefly (Fringe). I know it's a current GA nom, so let me know if you think the screenshot is good enough for you. Obviously the resolution is low, but that was intentional since it's fair use.-RHM22 (talk) 20:23, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
- No problem. An image with Christopher Lloyd in it would have been great, but none of the promotional photos had him in. Still, I think the fact that Walter has the band t-shirt on really makes the screenshot a pretty good one. Let me know if need any more and I'll reduce and blur them like I did with that one.-RHM22 (talk) 21:21, 24 February 2011 (UTC)
- I'm working on a few projects, so I might not get to the images right away if there's no pressing need. Let me know though if you need any quicker, like for GA noms and such. I don't like the image of the truck on that article. It doesn't really convey what the episode is about and isn't identifiable to Fringe at all. Do you want me to look for a nice replacement?-RHM22 (talk) 00:48, 25 February 2011 (UTC)
- Ok, the new image is up. What do you think of it? Let me know if you prefer the old one and I can switch it back.-RHM22 (talk) 04:21, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

Your rollback request
Hello Ruby2010, I have granted rollback rights to your account in accordance with your request. Please be aware that rollback should be used to revert vandalism/spam/blatantly unconstructive edits, and that using it to revert anything else (such as by revert-warring or reverting edits you disagree with) can lead to it being removed from your account...sometimes without any warning, depending on the admin who becomes aware of any misuse. If you think an edit should require a reason for reverting, then don't use rollback and instead, use a manual edit summary. For practice, you may wish to see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. Good luck. Acalamari 19:11, 9 March 2011 (UTC)

fringe_episode:"In Which We Meet Mr. Jones"
hello :)
writing you cause i read you often edit articles for 'fringe'. well, if interested in adding a new note for the episode in the subject, "David Robert Jones" is David Bowie's real name (David Bowie the singer, yes). i went through the article here on wiki and seems to me there's no mention to this, altho sounds like the authors wanted to 'pay him a tribute', doesn't it?
i'm passing you this piece of info in case you wanted to use it, i never edited an article on wiki and won't do it for now, but feel free to use this if you think it's something valuable.
take care! — Preceding unsigned comment added by El1129 (talk • contribs) 00:04, 15 March 2011 (UTC)

Fringe stuff
Hi Ruby. I just noticed that a lot of your Fringe articles have been promoted to GA. Nice work! You should go for an FA for something, maybe an entire season or the show itself. By the way, how about that last episode? Olivia as William Bell is a little unnerving!-RHM22 (talk) 01:19, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
- Yeah, individual episode FAs are difficult since you don't have a lot to work with. My suggestion would be to work on the article for the show (Fringe (TV series)) for FA. That would give you plenty of room for some interesting stuff, and provide a great basis for all other Fringe articles.-RHM22 (talk) 01:46, 15 March 2011 (UTC)
There's More Than One of Everything
I've launched a reassessment of the There's More Than One of Everything. The plot section is not cited. At least two of the cites do not match with the text. A suggestion: Cite every single sentence so that you know it is properly cited and the citation actually references what you have said in the text of the article. I've left comments on the reassessment page for the article. --LauraHale (talk) 02:28, 15 March 2011 (UTC)

hello :)
just watched this one and noticed that here the reference to david bowie for the character 'david robert jones' becomes even more explicit: when DRJ takes off the glasses, his eyes are now of two different colors, just like DV's eyes..
not sure it's also this something interesting to be added to the article, but thought to let you know.

Hi, nice work. Sorry to be picky but I think this would be better if we could lose the "expand section" tag currently on the "plot" section in the article (per D7 in WP:Did you know/Additional rules). Another sentence or two should be all it needs: if you don't want to describe every main plot development including spoilers, you could maybe finish it sort of like a book blurb to make it clear you've said all you wanted to say on the subject.
