Welcome!

[edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent contributions, such as your edit to the page Betty Boop, have removed content without a good reason to do so. Content on Wikipedia should not be removed just because you disagree with it or because you think it's wrong, unless the claim is not verifiable. Instead, you should consider expanding the article with noteworthy and verifiable information of your own, citing reliable sources when you do so. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox rather than in articles. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Hello, Renzo487,

I need to explain some recent edits to this category. I originally left a message on your user talk page, chastising you for emptying this category "out of process" which is something we discourage on Wikipedia. The correct procedure is to nominate a category for deletion, merging or renaming at WP:CFD. And then I set about undoing your edits, where you removed pages from this category.

It was mid-way through this activity that I noticed that you actually created this category and that the category name was terrible! So, it should be replaced by a category that is more appropriately named. So, I reverted all of my reversions of your edits. You'll get a notice that your edits were undone but I wanted to let you know that I undid my reversions and all of your edits stand. I apologize for my mistake and any confusion it causes. But, in the future, if you find yourself in a similar situation, please nominate the category at WP:CFD for renaming. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 01:58, 11 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:Obscenity controversies in internet indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself. Liz Read! Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Annoying Orange, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Orange. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:03, 21 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
