Your edits

[edit]

Hi. First, I'd like to reiterate the welcome you received above. Second, you may like to know that there is a WikiProject devoted to railways in the UK--a group of editors who try to keep the railway articles in good shape--which you might like to join. The project talk page also provides a forum for discussing widespread changes such as the ones you've been making.

I've taken a look at the edits you've made, and think it might be a good idea if you discussed what you were doing there and why you're doing it; otherwise, you might find the changes you made being reverted. My personal opinion is that I think many of the changes you've been making are sensible (I think that the "line" linked to on the service boxes should relate to the line that trains are using: e.g. I prefer "West Coast Main Line" to "London-Birmingham" for instance), but the trouble is others may disagree with me. That's why we have the discussion pages!

Also, you need to go here and fix the licensing information, otherwise the picture will be deleted.

Don't hesitate to ask me on my talk page if you have any questions. Regards, --RFBailey (talk) 15:30, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Another question

[edit]

Can I also ask if you are the person who made all of these edits? They seem very similar to what you've been doing, and stopped just before you created your account. --RFBailey (talk) 19:23, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No I Am Not And My Internet Wirelesss Is Not On The Ip Adress 83.67.55.217 Who Keeps Makig All Those Edits It Is Not Me . --Railway_Uk (talk) 09:04, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No problem, it must just be a coincidence. --RFBailey (talk) 16:02, 28 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Then again, if the edits from the IP address 83.67.55.217 aren't being made by you, why was this edit made to your user page? Do you have an explanation? --RFBailey (talk) 00:56, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Go ahead: what is your question? --RFBailey (talk) 15:55, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

To be honest, no. I don't think you have enough experience on Wikipedia just yet. Typically we expect editors to have been around for a while, and to have a good understanding of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, before a request for adminship is likely to succeed. Sorry, --RFBailey (talk) 17:01, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It's really not possible to say. Sorry for not being able to be of any more help than that. --RFBailey (talk) 18:23, 28 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
