Hi. I think you were rather hasty to tag this article as empty the same minute it was created. I know new users ought to realise that they should flesh their article out before they press "Save page", but many of them don't, and are discouraged if a speedy notice appears as soon as they put in their first try. We get quite a bit of flak for presenting an unfriendly interface to newcomers. With something like this, better to give it say 10 minutes and see if it is going somewhere before tagging it. Keep up the good work though - New Page Patrol needs all they eyes it can get, and most of your tags I have seen have been fine. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 16:43, 5 January 2010 (UTC)

Please be extra-cautious when using the speedy tag; if no criteria fits, please PROD or AfD. I know it's kind of silly, but it avoids potential misunderstandings (e.g. "is this house now anthropomorphic?"). Airplaneman ^talk 06:12, 9 January 2010 (UTC)

Warriors: Reply

To reply to your comment on my page, according to the MoS, fiction should always be in present tense, with relatively few exceptions. I'll go find and fix that example you foundl, but I'm pretty sure I went through the tense for most of the article, but yeah, when I was looking at that sentence, I had a hard time thinking of which words I was supposed to use. Well, I certainly agreed with them, but it broke so many of Wiki's policies that I couldn't possibly leave it in there. Still, that's a pretty bold statement! Article class

I think I'm not the only one who's having doubts about this, but do you think Erin Hunter should be counted as a disambiguation article? It doesn;t look like one to me, but at the same time, its impractical to call it an article on its own. Brambleclawx 00:26, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

Sorry, I'm not sure if I understand the problem. Pulling up the regular article shows it as a stub-class article. Erin Hunter (disambiguation) redirects to Erin Hunter. Honestly, I don't think it should be disambig because Erin Hunter is a legitimate pseudonym. That group of writers is Erin Hunter. That's my take, but this is probably one of those technical things that I'm not good at, so if you want to try and explain it further... PrincessofLlyr (talk) 16:09, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

At Talk:Erin Hunter, the WikiProject Warriors banner lists it as a disambiguation class article. But I'm not sure if it can be counted as a disambig. Brambleclawx 23:36, 11 January 2010 (UTC)

Okay, I understand now. I would say it's an article; it explains a pseudonym, including the works and references. Now, for the more important question: Can one of us change the listing or should we make a request to WikiProject Novels? I am a member of WikiProject Novels so technically I could do it, but that might not be ethical! It appears, and I could be wrong, but it appears that the article was formerly strictly a disambig linking to the various authors' pages. Actually, I just looked at the history, and that is the case. It was originally written with very little info other than links. So I think we could argue for a change in the rating. I would probably agree with the WikiProject Children's literature rating as stub, maybe start-class. Also, WikiProject Warriors hasn't rated it. We can do that. Articles about schools are specifically exempt from CSD A7

Greetings! I noticed that you placed a CSD A7 tag on the page Kanaka creek elm, which is an article about a school. I just wanted to inform you that per WP:CSD#A7, articles about schools are exempt from CSD A7. However, rather than declining speedy deletion altogether, I have re-tagged the page under CSD A1 because it appears to lack sufficient context to identify the subject of the article.
