User talk:PleaseStand/segregate-refs.js
Appearance
To enable this script, place importScript('User:PleaseStand/segregate-refs.js'); in your user javascript file. |
Script provides a segregate refs for editing button (in Edit mode). Clicking it collapses all the inline <ref></ref> references into named references (named automatically if they're not named) and the content of the references is displayed in a separate edit box. You can then edit body text and references separately, and when you press Save, everything is reintegrated as it was (including any changes to references in the ref edit box). It is basically List-defined references "on the fly" (just for you). Note: There is an option to convert articles to List-defined references, but this option is only available if you enable it by putting SegregateRefsJsAllowConversion=true; in your user javascript file. |
