Statement in Garage Rock article

[edit]

Thanks for your interest in the Garage Rock article. I removed the reference about rockabilly that you added in the lead section, because the statement there is primarily concerned with the immediate and current influences right at the time (between 1963-1965) that motivated a lot of young people to form bands. But, rockabilly was indeed an important prior influence. It just shouldn't be mentioned in that time-specific context. Garagepunk66 (talk) 08:18, 9 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Skjölker, and thanks very much for your work on the lead which is a huge improvement. I made one small tweak as prize-winning is the normal term in GB but what you've done is excellent. All the best and stay safe. No Great Shaker (talk) 06:43, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Antti Isotalo (Jäger), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Petsamo. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

The Winds of the Milky Way moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, The Winds of the Milky Way, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Thank you for creating Johan Mauritz Nordenstam. It is a well researched and historical article. However, you need to provide in line citations in order to make sure that the article is properly reviewed. Lack of in line citations might get the article deleted. Thank you.

Information icon Hi Skjölker! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Remsense ‥  03:24, 28 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
