Thank you!
Wow, a day for me -- what a pleasant surprise! You had some amazingly kind words to say, thank you very much for thinking of me. I've got a new job and haven't been around as much lately as I used to be (although I still keep an eye on my watchlist every morning), it's nice to know I'm still remembered. :) Best wishes to you and (as a fellow mother), good luck with all the joys and challenges of your baby's first year. Affectionately yours! — Catherine\talk 18:57, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
Thanks a lot!
I just wanted to let you know I was on and off WP because of some exams I have to do and almost forgot to thank you for the kind words you wrote on my page. Sometimes I wonder what would happen if I vandalizise after the last warning back then when I was new, but I know now what happens;) ( a block) and you don't have to rush on the template, please take your time because I know you got a great deal of work on your hands. Again thank you for the great commets you left on my talk page,Best wishes-Arnon Chaffin Got a message? 23:12, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
Love Not Riots deletion
An editor has asked for a deletion review of Love Not Riots. Since you closed the deletion discussion for this article or speedy-deleted it, you might want to participate in the deletion review. Darksun 23:35, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
Sorry, that template seems awfully lazy and impersonal. I really don't think this article meets A7 criteria due to the press coverage and the notable figures supporting it. Maybe AFD worthy. --Darksun 23:38, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
My apologies -- you just made a simple mistake in deleting the article, and I made a simple mistake in assuming bad faith. Simple human error on both our parts. I removed the comment. Ten Pound Hammer • (((Broken clamshells • Otter chirps))) 00:24, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
- I was assuming the Bad faith line was directed at me :) I can see on this matter I could be wrong to CSD the article, and that this may meet notability for sports people. I don't mind having the occasional harsh word thrown my way however, so happy there is no fallout. Still think the article is scraping the barrel of notability, but hey, more people disagree so happy to go along with it :). Raerth 00:35, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
- Well, at least both of you took it well. I do think I really need to watch what I say though, if I'm ever gonna become an admin. Ten Pound Hammer • (((Broken clamshells • Otter chirps))) 00:42, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

Thank you, Phaedriel, O oasis in the parched desert, O island in the stormy oceans.... sorry, that's the best poetry-wise I can do :) I will never forget your wonderful kindness - I am your slave. - Glad you're online - can you please un-protect my userpage? I'm locked in the john, metaphorically speaking. Rama's arrow (just a sexy boy) 03:07, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you Phaedriel - I trust you will not hesitate half-a-second in informing me if I can ever be of assistance. I am your minion, your Baldrick, your Dr. Watson, you slave for the rest of my days. The full extent of my gratitude cannot, sadly, be transmitted via the internet. Rama's arrow (just a sexy boy) 03:18, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
- What I meant was words are not enough.. In reply to your question, I'd like to be courteous to ArbCom and wait till the case I'm presently involved in is cleared up, especially as ArbCom itself may conclude that I shouldn't be an admin. I certainly don't want to create fresh distractions from the core issues. Rama's arrow (just a sexy boy) 03:52, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
Purge this
I noticed a "Purge this page" link on your user page. After I overcame the urge to click it to see what it did(it was difficult, trust me), I decided it might be wiser just to ask :) Wikidan829 03:49, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
- Made perfect sense. I thought it did something like wipe out your user page completely. I thought, my God, why would she put a link on there like that? haha Thanks! :) Wikidan829 03:57, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

A Quick Question
I am having a bit of trouble adding an external link to a page. The link is working properly, but even though I added the * for a bullet, the bullet will no show up and I am not sure exactly what I am doing wrong. If you could take at look at the WTFX-AM page, I would greatly appericate it. Also, let me know what I did wrong, so I won't do it again in the future. Thanks and Take Care....NeutralHomer T:C 15:05, 23 May 2007 (UTC)

Feuilleton about Los Soneros del Barrio
Dear Phaedriel. Thank you for one more kind reply to this poor Swede. I may seem folish of me to discuss this d*mned article so much instead of just getting on with it. :-) I. e. writing it foolproof with a few references. So let me just explain my strange behaviour. The article in itself means little to me. I'm more interested in whether it would be worth it submitting new articles in general to Wikipedia (I'd be interested in writing about salsa bands but also other things of course). And if the rules are too blurred and/or the application of them would be to capriscious, then I know that I won't be interested in doing it. So I have simply been trying to figure out one or two things here...
Anyway, in this case, I was earlier looking forward towards a response from you to the following statement that I made (maybe I should have put it more clearly as a question): "But: I note that the band leader Frankie Vázquez has played with Spanish Harlem Orchestra which already is on Wikipedia. That would perhaps fulfill criteria no. 6 in notability. If it's enough that I simply write a sentence about that, [then] I could re-submit the article."
(I still think that another system eg. where a number of article topics were cleared (pre-approved) by someone with knowledge of the field in question would be preferable (more efficient, if you really want the articles to be written for Wikipedia, even by occasional volunteers) to the present order, but that's another issue.) A Penny for your Thoughts
Hello again Phaedriel, hope you are doing well. I would like to request your opinion on a quick, simple matter. On Wikipedia:WikiProject Council/Proposals I put up a discussion about making a Wikiproject Capitals. I've had some comments suggesting a taskforce of Wikiproject Cities. However, I want some more comments from skilled Wikipedians to decide upon a Wikiproject, Task Force or just nothing. Cheers! •Felix• T 14:43, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

Help!
I'd like you to please see this. I'm not exactly sure what this guy's issue is, and I most likely didn't respond to it properly, but I think this could use the help of a loving person to set this straight. I'm not going to lie when I say that this person didn't give me the warm fuzzies when I first encountered them, then they leave me a weird message like this. What to do? Wikidan829 17:33, 24 May 2007 (UTC)

Hey Phaedriel
Hello again, I'm still thinking about whether to leave, but the ArbCom has not make the decision on the cases, which will determine if I still have faith on Wikipedia's fairness. So I'm waiting.
Here is an award for you.

- Thanks for your reply, Sharon. Actually, I have kept in touch with Kate (though not as much as I should have) and sent her a long message yesterday. When you have friends of that quality, you don't throw them away just because they're not editing Wikipedia anymore. It's just occurred to me that it might seem tactless to come to one user's talk page to say how wonderful another user was! But I'm sure you know that you were very much missed as well, and that I was thrilled to suddenly see your name appear on my watchlist again. Hope all is well with you! A Wikipedia Question
Hey, I have noticed in the past couple days in a row, that on history pages and my watchlist, I will see a "Due to high database server lag, changes newer than 30 seconds may not be shown in this list" tag. This is new and I was wondering if it was something that happens during the summer months or if perhaps Wikipedia might have finally outgrew it's server. Just wondering. Take Care....NeutralHomer T:C 22:55, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
- Now the "Wikipedia doesn't have a page for so-and-so" I have seen many a time (normally it is when I am creating new pages...but this one was new. But, as long as the software and servers don't crash and all of Wikipedia disappears, which was my main worry, I am happy. I would hate to have to redo all those articles again.
- Also, ever noticed how hard it is to write a message with a cat's tail swishing back and forth on your keyboard....and the cat the tail is attached to is directly in front of the monitor? I think he is trying to tell me something. :) Take Care....NeutralHomer T:C 18:59, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
Why was the picture deleted?
Hello Sharon K., I followed the instructions very carefully while adding the picture to the "Sadiq Ali" article. Please let me know why you deleted it. Please email me at onestopx@shaw.ca if you want confirmation that it's a genuine picture and that there are no copyright issues. Thankyou and have a great day.--Kangan 00:26, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
- Because the image was licensed to Wikipedia only. If a image is granted a "free license" it must be used by others than Wikipedia; if that is not the case, we cannot use the image. Frankly, I would suggest to not upload the image again since Phaedriel's deletion is the third deletion of this image for one reason or another. User:Zscout370 (Return Fire) 03:25, 26 May 2007 (UTC)

- Hi Sharon, I just got your e-mail. I'll reply when I can, hopefully sometime tomorrow, Tuesday by the latest (I might take a daytrip on Memorial Day). By the way, I hope you don't mind my removal of this message from your talk page. While you were away, User:Acalamari and User:Natalie Erin had problems with someone who was leaving messages on their talk pages saying that they were romantically involved, and the vandal also spent a lot of time creating inappropriately named accounts to that effect. I was concerned that this might be the same person. Love, Kyoko 23:30, 26 May 2007 (UTC)
