Help
[edit]I would like to include the image http://www.andrews.af.mil/shared/media/photodb/photos/090605-f-6072J-005.jpg into the wikipedia article "Bárány chair": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B%C3%A1r%C3%A1ny_chair.
The image is from a mil webpage and where it is marked "U.S. Air Force photo/ Bobby Jones"
possible title: Air Force personal demonstrating the effect on the sensory perception and spacial orientation after having been rotated in a Bárány chair. The test person tries to point at a test board.
I am not sure about the copyright. Even though the image is from a government/military web-page the photographer is cited with his name.
If ok, how can I upload the file to Commons and then get it into the article?
Please advice! Thanks.

Question: Please can you tell me the URL that gives the info about the picture (ie "U.S. Air Force photo/ Bobby Jones") Chzz ► 22:43, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
- Never mind; I found the story. It's OK; we have other images from that photographer on commons already, such as File:Miss America contestants visit Andrews 2003.jpg, File:Airbornelaserturret.jpg, File:Willis McGahee at Andrews AFB_070821-F-0000J-001 crop.jpg, file:Ray Lewis at Andrews AFB 070821-F-0000J-002 crop.jpg.
- Therefore, yes, please upload it at commons, and choose "
It is from a US federal government source
", then in the "Licensing" drop-down, choose "Original work of the US Air Force
".
- Therefore, yes, please upload it at commons, and choose "
- If you have any problems uploading it, let me know and I'll be glad to help or to do it for you. For more help, you can either;

Help needed to create a table
[edit]I would like to create a timeline using a table format:
To begin something simple and maybe something more complicated later:
Date in a certain format, something happening at that date
For example:
06.12. 1871 Establishment of the Gotthardbahn Society
autumn 1872 Begin of the construction of the Gotthard Tunnel
06.12. 1874 Biasca-Bellinzona and Lugano-Chiasso are operational
20.12. 1874 Bellinzona-Locarno is operational
12.03. 1878 as one result of the new treaty between Italy, Switzerland and Germany the construction of the two northern legs Luzern-Immensee snd Zug-Goldau will be delayed until the other routes are finalized.
29.02. 1880 the two tunneling teams finally meet and break through the final barrier
01.01. 1882 first provisional operation through the tunnel between Göschenen and Airolo
10.04. 1882 the Monte Cenere-Linie Bellinzona-Lugano is put into operation
01.06. 1882 the main route Immensee-Chiasso is in full operation.
04.12. 1882 the Bellinzona-Luino line is working now
01.06. 1897 The northern legs Luzern-Immensee and Zug-Arth/Goldau go into operation
01.06. 1897 the Gotthardbahn network is complete albeit to a large extend with only a single track
Thanks for your help
