WikiProject Software
[edit]Do you still have the background gradient? By the way can you change the logo to Improving Wikipedia one bit at at time? By the way what do you suggest as the new WP Software logo? --Tyw7 (Talk • Contributions) 13:19, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
- Err...wha? I'm kinda busy with school starting in less than a week, but creating a new logo shouldn't be that hard, seeing as I'm making flyers for a school club.... ηoian ‡orever ηew ‡rontiers 00:14, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- I just want to know which background gradient you use for the logo? And can we get a consensus about the logo. --Tyw7 (Talk • Contributions) 09:54, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- Well the gradient doesn't really matter per se, as long as its close. I just chose a white gradient with the color of the background of the project page as the second one (don't have the HEX code on hand). I don't know if we should be focusing on an logo, I mean, isn't there other places to focus? I can make a spherical one if you want, and I could make a SVG, it just wouldn't be a small SVG file size cause I don't have that much experience with vector art (besides pen tool anyway). ηoian ‡orever ηew ‡rontiers 14:52, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- You're right! I was just wondering if you still had the background. --Tyw7 (Talk • Contributions) 16:22, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- No, I deleted the file, I can remake it in less than a minute if you want, not the hardest thing in the world. ηoian ‡orever ηew ‡rontiers 22:23, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- Can you make one for me (without the background). --Tyw7 (Talk • Contributions) 20:18, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
- I'll make it tomorrow in art&mult. class, I don't have a computer with Vector editing software home atm because of moving (I could download inkscape)...unless your fine with raster? ηoian ‡orever ηew ‡rontiers 05:06, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

Andrew Videto
[edit]A page you worked on substantially -- Andrew_Videto -- may be nominated for deletion soon. If you can improve the article, I invite you to do so, if it can be shown to be notable under wikipedia's guidelines. Feel free to reach me on my talk page if you'd like. --Milowent (talk) 21:24, 25 August 2009 (UTC)
- Er....article I worked substantially on?! I picked it up from new page patrol, lol! ηoian ‡orever ηew ‡rontiers 03:28, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
- lol, ok, then, maybe your relative contribution is great only due to lack of substance in the article overall at this point. thanks. --Milowent (talk) 14:00, 26 August 2009 (UTC)

[edit]Can you help me move this page to "defunct"? It is no longer a live station. Thanks. --No1StateCollegeFan (talk) 02:19, 27 August 2009 (UTC)
Speedies, PRODs and AfD's, oh my!
[edit]Hey there! I was just closing this AfD you started and felt I could drop in and give you a nutshell guide to deletion on Wikipedia. Basically, the following will almost always apply to deletion cases.
- Say you find an article, and you question its notability or appropriateness. With your knowledge of CSD criteria, you flag it with the appropriate template.
- The template is removed without explanation by the author; you re-instate it. If the editor keeps removing it, and won't respond to your notes on their talk page about not removing the deletion notice, report them at WP:AIV so that an administrator can deal with them.
- The template is removed by someone who is not the author and not an obvious sockpuppet; you do not reinstate the CSD, but rather place a proposed-deletion notice on the article.
- If the PROD stays, then after the appropriate amount of time an administrator will come along and delete it.
- If the PROD is removed, even if by the page author, do not reinstate it. Rather;
- Take the article to AfD, and explain your rationale there.
Sound good? If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer them. Cheers, and keep up the great work! :) Master of Puppets - Call me MoP! :D 02:12, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
