Speedy deletion nomination of Nadiad haveli
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Nadiad haveli requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}
) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. August 2011
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Nadiad haveli, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Copyrighted contributions
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Manmohan Ghose article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later, and under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribute Share-Alike."
You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question at the "Help Desk". You can also leave a message on my talk page. Gurt Posh (talk) 09:26, 8 August 2011 (UTC)
Did you know... nomination of Royal Commission on Opium
[edit]Hi Niravashokdesai,
I've just nominated Royal Commission on Opium, an article you created, for Did you know? at the Wikipedia Main Page. It's the first time I've tried nominating a DYK; hopefully I've got it right... Anyway, I thought you'd like to know. Good job on the article, by the way; it can be hard to find notable new topics that aren't already covered somewhere. It has the potential to become a very interesting piece of work.
Cheers, Yunshui (talk) 09:57, 10 August 2011 (UTC)
- The DYK has been approved, it's in the queue now and should be on the mainpage in a couple of hours. Yunshui (talk) 13:45, 22 August 2011 (UTC)

DYK for Royal Commission on Opium
[edit]On 22 August 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Royal Commission on Opium, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the Royal Commission on Opium, set up at the instigation of anti-opium campaigners, set back the anti-opium cause by 15 years? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template talk:Did you know/Royal Commission on Opium.You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
