DYK for 1986 enlargement of the European Communities

[edit]

On 1 August 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article 1986 enlargement of the European Communities, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that when Spain joined the European Communities in 1986, it had a larger fishing fleet than all the other Community members put together? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/1986 enlargement of the European Communities. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, 1986 enlargement of the European Communities), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Just an update

[edit]

Hey, the number of broken section links went from 73K to 61K [1] As low as July 2018. Thanks for bringing this to my attention (the bot has been fixing them for two months now: Special:Contributions/Dexbot). Thanks! Ladsgroupoverleg 09:56, 3 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

RfC comment/request

[edit]

Hi Naypta! Your bot gave me a feedback request; the RfC in question doesn't seem to exist...? I think someone mistakenly used a template in asking a question (on talk:Blaire White), but there is no RfC there. Just letting you know in case Yapperbot is continuing to invite other editors; happy days, LindsayHello 15:38, 12 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@LindsayH: The RfC did exist at one point. It was delisted in Special:Diff/972517422 four hours after the bot notified you. * Pppery * it has begun... 01:08, 17 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

COVID-19 pandemic death rates by country

[edit]

Back in June there was a discussion at Talk:COVID-19 pandemic by country and territory/Archive 4#Cases and deaths per million, which did not result in getting the template working. There is an article at COVID-19 pandemic death rates by country which provides correct figures according to JHU. It gets very out of date and I have just updated it - partly sucessfully as I seem to have managed to get the correct figures but also add junk text at the bottom. Instructions for updating the article are at User:Timeshifter/Sandbox107. Would they provide the basis for updating the template Template:COVID-19 pandemic data, which if I understand correctly also previously had case and death rates?
