Thank you

[edit]

Thank you for the welcome invitation to the Teahouse Naypta, I think I have just been accused of being a sock. What is the normal procedure to prove my identity in such instances? YuHuw (talk) 06:59, 10 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi YuHuw! Sorry for the late reply! To be honest, I'm not quite sure - it's never something I've had to deal with - but if you reach out to someone else at the Teahouse they might be able to help :) | Naypta opened his mouth at 07:22, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm a bit confused about how to link a page to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meetup/ArtAndFeminism. This is for Tucson, Arizona. I created a separate page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meetup/Tucson/ArtAndFeminism_2016/University_of_Arizona, but I see the other events seem to have a "child page" in the Wikipedia:Meetup. I created a child page at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meetup/Tucson/ArtAndFeminism_2016, so should I go ahead and delete the original one I created. If so, how do I do that? Thanks :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tomthirteen (talkcontribs) 21:59, 19 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Tom, yeah, you can go ahead and delete the original by putting a CSD on it for author requested deletion - a CSD G7 :) Naypta opened his mouth at 07:22, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Say Nada, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages EP and JME. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Samantha Kerr

[edit]

Hi Naypta,

You just said my article about Samantha Kerr (footballer, born 1999) missed references. But there are references. I also don't know what tildes are. Funafuti1978 (talk) 15:40, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Funafuti1978: Heya, yeah, I saw you added the citations after I added the deletion template – you removed the template, which is fine :) I've also moved the article to Samantha Kerr (Scottish footballer) to fit Wikipedia naming conventions. :) | Naypta opened his mouth at 15:49, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks !! Appreciated ! I need to learn all still ! Funafuti1978 (talk) 15:57, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Funafuti1978: No worries mate :) Also, ~ is a tilde for future reference. | Naypta opened his mouth at 15:59, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Adhyapak Nagar

[edit]

hi its very true this place exist — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adhyapaknagar (talkcontribs) 16:10, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Adhyapaknagar: The mere existence of a place doesn't automatically make it notable - see WP:NGEO. If you want to defend your position in the deletion debate, please see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Adhyapaknagar :) | Naypta opened his mouth at 16:14, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

hello can you ellaborate and who are you???? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adhyapaknagar (talkcontribs) 16:17, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Adhyapaknagar: Wikipedia isn't the place for promoting anything - we're not here to help you do that, we're here to be an encyclopedia. If you're trying to promote something like that, you'd need to contact someone who does something along the lines of Search engine optimization. Until something notable happens in your area - until something which someone independent writes about - it's not notable. See WP:GNG and WP:NGEO for our policies on what makes things suitably notable for a Wikipedia article. That aside, please please sign your posts with four tildes like so: ~~~~. Also, there's no need to keep spamming someone's talk page - as it happened, I was actually typing a reply as you saved your change. Please save changes to your comments under the correct section for organization purposes (in this case, under the heading "Adhyapak Nagar"). Finally, to work out who I am, wander over to my info page :) | Naypta opened his mouth at 16:25, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

save this please. --Soem49588 (talk) 05:42, 29 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Soem49588: Heya, please see WP:GNG and WP:FICT. Generally, fictional content is not suitable for Wikipedia, especially when there are no references or things that point to any wider knowledge of the subject pre-existing. | Naypta opened his mouth at 05:46, 29 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I've never had an article reviewed so blazingly fast as you did Gustavo Thorlichen...just seconds after I loaded it! Thank you! JamesMcArdle 05:58, 29 March 2016 (UTC)

@Jamesmcardle: Haha, I work fast :P You're welcome! | Naypta opened his mouth at 05:59, 29 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your recommendation to delete OneDirect

[edit]

Hi

I just created this page barely 5 minutes ago, and I have made massive changes to the one that existed before this. I had left messages to the previous person who had recommended the same. I request to please suggest edits and tell me which part of the article feels like it is promotional and I would happily remove it. This is purely for informational purposes. I am new to wikipedia and would love your help to make it truly neutral. So I request to remove your recommendation and help me make it a purely neutral article. Aayush2003 (talk) 06:20, 29 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @Aayush2003:, please see WP:SPAM and WP:ORG for our guidelines on notability and promotional content. Your article needs to be written from an entirely neutral point of view in order for it to be accepted on Wikipedia. Thanks! | Naypta opened his mouth at 06:30, 29 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Naypta I thank you for your fast reply, I just had a few questions, I was making this page using the Domo(company) page as a reference, what I understood from reading these guidelines is that if I reduce the Overview part to just 1-2 paragraphs and remove their product offerings the rest of the article should be fine, because the rest only tells about their clients and the founder and the funding they raised. Would I be correct in saying that? Aayush2003 (talk) 07:15, 29 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
