An anon wants me to talk to you about formatting in italcs

Not sure, but I think it relates to my revert here as using italics to emphasize is against MOS:ITALIC. I don't think there's any issue with MOS:CAPS. So are you applying italics correctly? Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:17, 2 January 2020 (UTC)

Walter Görlitz, I was using italics because I couldn't use smaller text. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 20:47, 2 January 2020 (UTC)
Per the comment below, neither is necessary as the text is already separated from the text via parenthesis. No need for further emphasis. Walter Görlitz (talk) 21:01, 2 January 2020 (UTC)

Revert on CBUT-DT

Hi Mvcg66b3r, I know I have tried to restore italics on the article CBUT-DT but it was reverted. Like I said, I know I have take care of all Canadian television articles. And a user goes by the name of User:Walter Görlitz remove the italics on a television station article titled CBUT-DT. I know you did a good job on a lot of editing for it's television station articles including italics on almost all television station articles. I tried to talk to User:Walter Görlitz but the user deleted my message and refuse to answer me. So could you go to CBUT-DT article and revert User:Walter Görlitz's edit because User:Walter Gorlitz remove the italics for it television station articles. Please restore my edit to include italics that is written as (general) and (newscasts) for my version and if User:Walter Görlitz continues reverting please give the user a warning. Don't forget please propose to include italics for (general) and (newscasts) to be include at the CBUT-DT's talk page. I will be happy for your reply. Thanks for your time. 2001:569:7C07:2600:BCF1:C19C:2F49:25AB (talk) 20:20, 2 January 2020 (UTC)

Hold your revert just yet go to the message that is sent to User:Walter Gorlitz. 20:24, 2 January 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for the quick response. I see. Do yo need to format the information differently as it's already in parenthesis? This already separates it from the text beside it. Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:57, 2 January 2020 (UTC)

Template for other Minnesota stations

Hello. I just wanted to split off the "other Minnesota stations" section from the Minnesota TV section. --TheLennyGriffinFan1994 (talk) 20:59, 3 January 2020 (UTC)

TheLennyGriffinFan1994, Why? Mvcg66b3r (talk) 21:26, 3 January 2020 (UTC)

You know, for some reason, I think it's better if the other Minnesota stations, especially the independents, have their own template, so I just wanted to split the section off. --TheLennyGriffinFan1994 (talk) 21:40, 3 January 2020 (UTC)

Move from East Tennessee PBS to WKOP-TV

PBS member networks with two stations should be listed with just the main callsign of the main station. And it involves WKOP-TV and not WETP-TV (the latter being a full time satellite of WKOP-TV). If the move happens, you may or may not edit it.

Update: it is already done. 107.77.189.41 (talk) 03:52, 6 January 2020 (UTC)

WETP is the main station (it came on first as WSJK-TV). Why did you bother to change it without seeking consensus? Please change it back. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 03:56, 6 January 2020 (UTC)

@Mvcg66b3r: East Tennessee PBS' studios and offices are located in Knoxville, Tennessee. I've checked WETP/WKOP's public FCC file and they say that their "main studio address" are located in Knoxville. Again the main station is WKOP, not WETP (WETP does not currently maintain physical presence in Sneedville, Tennessee). 107.77.189.41 (talk) 04:07, 6 January 2020 (UTC)

But as I said, WETP signed on first. You shouldn't have made the move without discussing it on the article's talk page. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 04:11, 6 January 2020 (UTC)

About MUPN

Read this article and highlight "WPIX, "KTLA" and "WGN" to learn what I mean. https://www.nytimes.com/1984/10/23/movies/film-studio-s-new-approach-to-tv.html RevinCBHatol (talk) 04:57, 14 January 2020 (UTC)

RevinCBHatol, A category I created on the MDA Labor Day Telethon was deleted a few weeks later for some reason. I think this category should be deleted for the same reason. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 05:00, 14 January 2020 (UTC)

Message about move

@Mvcg66b3r: as at WP:RM/TR, I made a request to move East Tennessee PBS to WETP-TV (not the failed request to move it to WKOP-TV [the latter of which is a satellite of WETP-TV]). 107.242.125.51 (talk) 00:18, 19 January 2020 (UTC)

WUTV Charlotte

I didn't believe it, either, but the information was basically accurate. I added some info, corrected a couple of dates, and put in multiple sources. JTRH (talk) 01:38, 20 January 2020 (UTC)

Disambiguators

Hey, I noticed you moved WTVI (Florida) to WTVI (Fort Pierce, Florida). When I wrote my RfC and RMs on disambiguators, my policy was to use the simplest disambiguator possible, and no other WTVI has operated in the state of Florida. Is it possible to move the article back? Raymie (tc) 03:11, 21 January 2020 (UTC)

Raymie, Try Requested moves. Mvcg66b3r (talk) 03:14, 21 January 2020 (UTC)

KBTC

I was going by what the FCC map says, which is obviously correct, as they are the FCC[1] ... just kidding. OK, what is a WP:RS for such data? Gah4 (talk) 01:48, 26 January 2020 (UTC)
