Question regarding U.S. Route 10 Alternate (Washington–Montana)
I saw that you added the "More Citations needed" template on this article recently. I was simply curious if you could enlighten me on what exactly needs to be verified so I may do more research to correct this issue.

- First, thank you for reaching out to me. You only have four references in the article. To go together with this, the history section is very short, especially for a highway that was over 450 miles long! Morriswa (Charlotte Allison) (talk) 21:49, 22 October 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you, I will do more research and expand on the article when I get the time. Paul Webb (PaulWebbtheTechExpert) (talk) 13:16, 23 October 2020 (UTC)
- Cool. If you need extra help, ask at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject U.S. Roads. They are much better with research and technical aspects of editing. Also, most of my editing is in the southeast (Georgia and South Carolina), since that is where I have lived the most. Therefore, those states are not in the forefront of my mind. Speedy deletion of redirect California State Route 399 (was to U.S. Route 399)
I haven't been on Wikipedia in a while, but finally just noticed the speedy deletion of a redirect that I made for U.S. Route 399, which was made as a technical redirect way back when the infobox navigation for going up and down route number articles in California was specific to that state and previously did not distinguish between state, US and Interstate routes.
While I do agree with deleting it now since the code for the infobox and other navigation templates have been updated over the years and therefore the redirect is now unneeded, I absolutely do not agree with the reason for this deletion - calling my creation of it a deceptive hoax and vandalism.
If you had looked at my previous contributions to California state highways, I would have hoped you had come to a different conclusion and nominated the deletion in a different way. --Geopgeop (talk) 10:49, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you for reaching out to me. I apologize if I offended you. I just looked on the List of state highways in California page and didn't see an entry for SR 399, so I nominated it for deletion. Morriswa (Charlotte Allison) (talk) 10:54, 30 October 2020 (UTC)
