[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, Mooner72! If you're interested in participating in aircraft-related editing, may I recommend you visit the WikiProject Aircraft? By the way, I've noticed that all of your edits to date have been to add links from aircraft articles to their counterparts on CombatAircraft.com. Since that site doesn't add much information not already in those articles, the links are likely to be considered spam and removed. (Also, if you are involved with that site, please be aware that it would be a conflict of interest.) If you have questions, please visit my talk page or the WP:AIR talk page. [edit]Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. adding same link to multiple aircraft articles, see user contributions. Looks like single purpose account. SpigotMap 21:50, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
Adding relevant external links to CombatAircraft.com
[edit]To whom it may concern, I am not adding spam to Wikipedia's content. I am adding a relevant link to any 'shared' aircraft pages so that a Wikipedia viewer may find additional information/resources. Please refrain from questioning my links, just follow one or two to see it's validity.
- There are already links on the aircraft pages for specs/etc. All of the links have been reverted due to WP:EL and the fact that as it stands, you have a single purpose account. Instead of link spamming, use your websites to better the information in the articles. SpigotMap 22:33, 18 November 2007 (UTC)
Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - Indeed, please stop adding links to your website. It does not assert any sourcing for its figures and offers nothing new.--Mmx1 (talk) 00:25, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
