Nope.
I haven't been reviewed yet. (tear, tear)
L337p4wn (talk) 20:42, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
- Well, don't worry. They are majorly backlogged there, anyhow, so no one is really attended to swiftly. I got reviewed in about a week, but that was just luck. I'd review you myself, but I'd be difficult to be impartial, so it wouldn't be fair. Best wishes, hope you get a review soon, mate! Cheers, --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 20:45, 5 June 2008 (UTC).
Re: Civility
How was I uncivil? I told that person not to add rumours? Alientraveller (talk) 21:18, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
- I was referring to Kalas Grengar's uncivil comment aimed toward you. Cheers, --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 21:21, 5 June 2008 (UTC).
Re copyedit
Hi Mizu, I'll be happy to. I'm just finishing up a copyedit on Ninja Gaiden (2004 video game), and I've promised someone a GA review, so I'll head your way as soon as these are dealt with; probably over the weekend or early next week. Glad you found the helmet useful, and... um... if you could remind me what the article was... :P EyeSerenetalk 13:37, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks! So sorry for not replying more swiftly; I suppose I got more than one message at a time, because I didn't see this one. :P Take your time, I know you're busy. The article is Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007 film) as everyone else is too busy to copyedit it. Thanks, --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 22:02, 7 June 2008 (UTC).
My RfA
Hello, Mizu onna sango15, and thank you for your recent participation in my RfA, which was closed per WP:NOTNOW after reaching a vote tally of 5/15/2. While I am disappointed in the outcome, I understand that it - as well as the comments left by yourself and others - was in the best interests of Wikipedia at this time. I plan to take everything that was written to heart and improve myself here on Wikipedia with a goal of perhaps accepting a nomination again in the future, should someone choose to nominate me. As a way of gathering further feedback, I have created a page in my user space for other editors to leave comments about things that they might have observed during my RfA and to continue my "education process," as it may be considered. If you would like to contribute to that page, it may be found here. Again, thank you for participating and I appreciate your comments! --InDeBiz1 (talk) 18:14, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
- No problem, IDB. You're a great editor nontheless. Better luck next time. Cheers, --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 21:54, 6 June 2008 (UTC).
Removal of Moomoomoo's request
Can you revert your revert of Moomoomoo's re-adding of his request. I talked with MBisanz about it and we decided to request Moomoomoo to remove it on their own. See my reply to him here. Thanks for understanding! Malinaccier (talk) 02:36, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
- Certainly. Sorry for the mix-up, Malinaccier. --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 02:41, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you very much! If you need a co-nomination for a future RFA, feel free to ask me (I took a look at your ADCO page and was impressed)! Malinaccier (talk) 03:07, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
- Why thank you! That means a great lot coming from you. Cheers, --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 03:21, 7 June 2008 (UTC).
- Also, (I just now saw that you're also a user adopter) I couldn't help but notice that you're entry on the adopter page states that you're not an admin. Was this a mistake? Thanks, --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 03:28, 7 June 2008 (UTC).
- Wow, I made that entry a long time ago (before I was an admin). Thanks for alerting me to that! Malinaccier (talk) 03:38, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

- And just so you know, Moomoomoo agreed to the removal. :) Malinaccier (talk) 03:57, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
- Wow. Well, from the looks of it, it won't be too long before he may re-add his request, anyway. By the way, seeing your public account (Malinaccier Pubic) at an RFA, I was inspired to create my own public account; until yesterday, I had been editing at the library from my regular username, which I now know can be dangerous. :) --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 04:02, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
- "Malinaccier Pubic" XD. Yeah, that's a good idea. Except don't call it "pubic." Malinaccier (talk) 04:05, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

Adotee Program
Hi,
I saw this message and i wanted to say that it is fine for two adopters to offer adoption to the same adoptee, and that the adoptee reserves the right to choose his/her adopter. Thanks «l| Ψrom3th3ăn ™ |l» 09:06, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
- Ah, I see. I was rather confused by that for awhile. Cheers! --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 09:22, 8 June 2008 (UTC).

Copy editing
Tokyo Mew Mew is currently in need of a copy edit. I am willing to do so myself, but am currently not experienced in doing so. Would you mind assisting me with this task by reviewing my changes and commenting thereon as needed (For instance by suggesting a better change)? Regards, G.A.S 11:29, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- Why, certainly. Let me know when you're in need of some comments (I assume you've not yet completed the copyediting). Cheers, --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 04:38, 10 June 2008 (UTC).
- I have completed the copy editing of the first two paragraphs[1], please comment (The copy editing will be slow at first, but should pick up speed as I continue with it). It may be better if we move this discussion here as well. Thanks you. G.A.S 06:11, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
- Done. Moved to appropriate section of discussion. Cheers, --Mizu onna sango15 Public (talk) 03:03, 11 June 2008 (UTC).
- I have copy edited the plot section, will you please review[2]? I am still to copy edit the final paragraph of the lead. Thanks, I appreciate the effort. G.A.S 17:33, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
- I have now completed the copy editing up to the production section, and would appreciate if you can review the article up to there and provide feedback. This represents the first 45% of the article; I have not yet done the rest as I require that a critical review is done first. My fellow editor have also asked another copy-editor to do the same, as it seems that the copy editing is probably the single biggest issue to address before going for GA (and after that—FA) status. Regards, G.A.S 12:47, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

Sweeny Todd c/e
Hi Mizu - just to let you know I haven't forgotten about the copyedit. I should be on it fairly shortly; it's at the top of my list now ;) EyeSerenetalk 19:11, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
- No problem. Like I said, take your time. I'm going for FA eventually, though, since not many film article are Featured nowadays. Cheers, --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 21:39, 12 June 2008 (UTC).
- FA... you want the gold-plated special then. Actually, I did mean to ask what sort of c/e you were after (i.e. just a prose sweep or the full pre-FA treatment). Glad you mentioned it! EyeSerenetalk 23:19, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, would you? Much appreciated, ES. :-) I could really use a featured article about now (I'm currently on ADCO, and am shooting for a future RFA). Thanks again, --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 23:37, 12 June 2008 (UTC).
Chef
{{helpme}}
Why do all the [Edit] links next to the section headings in the Chef article appear the way they do (they seem to be in a different language)? It doesn't look like a problem with the MediaWiki: namespace; in all other articles it appears normally. Can someone provide me some assistance? --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 01:33, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
- It apparently had something to do with the image that User:BobaCartman added. I rolled back the image addition (the article has enough pics already) and it fixed it. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters • (Broken clamshells•Otter chirps) 01:48, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Closing RFAs
Hello and thanks for helping out with paperwork regarding Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Cosmic Latte, however, I need to point out a couple things. First, when you close an RFA per WP:NOTNOW (or WP:SNOW, for that matter), please remove its listing from the main RFA page. Also be sure to archive the RFA in the two archives at Wikipedia:Unsuccessful adminship candidacies, both chronologically and alphabetically. Also, please send a message to the RFA candidate indicating that you closed the RFA as unsuccessful. One final note, it's generally better to allow the RFA to be closed by someone who did not participate as to prevent the appearance of a conflict of interest. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Thanks. Useight (talk) 21:14, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you for the information, and I apologise for the mistake.
- As for not removing it from the listing and archiving it, I was getting to it (I hadn't simply neglected to archive it), but there was a delay with my computer. Also, as to why I closed it after I had voted, I thought I had withdrawn my !vote to avoid such appearance (though now I'm unsure whether that's appropriate or not either). Again, I apologise; It won't happen again. Cheers, --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 21:20, 13 June 2008 (UTC).
- Taking a few extra minutes to archive is fine, no problem there. I took care of it. But please send Cosmic Latte a message informing him/her of the closure. Useight (talk) 21:26, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
- Certainly. Unfortunately, I lost the template for that specific purpose (now I really need a trouting). Do you recall what it was? --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 21:45, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
- I've always used a more personalized message rather than a template, but one possibility can be found here. Useight (talk) 21:48, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Done. I took your advice and personalised my own instead of using the template, and tried to be as friendly and non-bitey (not that CL is a newcomer) as possible. Thanks, --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 21:59, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
I noticed that you closed this RfA despite participating and opposing this request. Did Cosmic Latte say anywhere that they wished to withdraw? Acalamari 21:14, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
- Please see the above section. I appologise, as it was a very silly mistake on my part (surprisingly, I never knew I couln't WP:SNOWBALL an obviously failing RFA- even one I took part in). Thanks, --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 21:23, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
- That's all right: I was actually going to remove this, but I saw your above message and the topic there first. Acalamari 21:25, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
- Guess I just barely beat you to the punch, so to speak. Useight (talk) 21:27, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for participating in my RfA, which passed with a final count of 42 supporting, 2 opposing and 2 neutral. I would like to thank Keeper76 especially for the great nomination. I look forward to assist the project and its community as an administrator. Thanks again, Cenarium Talk 00:28, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
Rfa thanks
Sweeny Todd
Apologies for the hiatus - busy RL sometimes :P I should have a clear run at the article next week, so hopefully we can make some progress then. You're right, I haven't seen the film, but that may even be an advantage in trimming the plot summary (and you'll be able to catch any mistakes I make!) Best, EyeSerenetalk 14:48, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- Not a problem, Serene. When you've got the time, I'll be ready to help out. Best of luck! --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 01:04, 21 June 2008 (UTC)
Copyediting request
…for good article The Shape of Things to Come (Lost) from the Lost WikiProject, which I will soon be nominating for featured article status. I noticed that you are of the few listed at Wikipedia:Peer review/volunteers#General copyediting who is not backlogged. Thanks, –thedemonhog talk • edits 22:09, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
- Sure. I'll attend to it as soon as I can. Anything in specific you want fixed, any problems that might prevent it from reaching FA? Cheers, --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 22:11, 22 June 2008 (UTC).
- No, I am just responding to a talk page comment by Dr. Cash ("it would be a good idea to complete a good copyedit of the article. While the prose is acceptable, there's a couple of areas that could use tightening up"). Thanks again, –thedemonhog talk • edits 22:56, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

- Thanks! Oh, though I do have something to notify you of, L337-chan. Due to my foolish carelessness in my first few editing months my account was hacked, and so a few convos between you and I... did not actually involve myself. Some diffs are at the end. Luckily, though, I swiftly changed my password and stopped leaving my account logged in (bloody friends of roommates, apparently) and I installed Committed identitiy, so it shouldn't happen again.
- Here are some examples of the account compromisation — greatest regrets, L337: [3], [4] (Hah, I don't even use that emoticon! [O_O]), [5], And this entire conversation: [6] as well as many others.
- Eh. That's going to hurt in an RfA for sure. At least now I'm prepared though. Everyone makes mistakes, I suppose.
- Cheers, and sorry about that! --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 23:02, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
Also: added UBX. See User:Mizu onna sango15/About. Thanks, --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 23:07, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
It's fine! My sister used our computer to vandalize, and she got us blocked for awhile. I contested the block, and got our computer undone. But I still have a block template on my user talk. Teaches me about siblings. >.<

Heh. Siblings. Nice talking to you, L337-chan. ;-) --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 03:11, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
You too, Mizu-chan!
L337p4wn (talk) 03:38, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
Only if you want to!
I want to nominate you for Adminship. You fit all of the following...
- A strong edit history
- Trustworthiness
- You are active in WikiProjects
- Very active in Recent Changes patrolling,
- and an all around great user/friend. :)
YOU CAN ALWAYS DECLINE
Seriously, it's ok if you don't accept.
...
But I think you are ready.
L337p4wn (talk) 04:07, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
- Sorry to jump in--I've had your userpage watchlisted for a while--but if you do decide to make the run then I'd like the opportunity to write a co-nom. You might get dinged for not always using edit summaries, but I agree that your current contributions make it clear that you're a strong contributor who would make a fine admin. それと、日本語が出来る管理者がいればいるほど楽しいでしょう! --jonny-mt 05:04, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you two for the gracious offer. Could you give me a day or so to think this over a bit? I'd like to make sure the community will trust me enough to be an admin at this point.
- Also, just a note: I always type in the edit summary box. The bit of red that shows up in Interiot's tool is due to my leaving the section heading field when I click "new section" tab empty: this was before I discovered that the section heading is the edit summary. So, if you look at when I posted speedy deletion warnings on talk pages, sometimes I would leave that field blank (since the template inclueded an automatic heading anyway) by accident.
- Thanks, --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 06:56, 23 June 2008 (UTC).
- Not at all, take your time. Incidentally, I was actually looking through your contributions list instead of Interiot's tool--you do very well in the article namespace, but it couldn't hurt to let us know what exactly you're doing in the Wikipedia namespace :) Like I said, though, it's generally a very minor ding--I don't think anyone's ever not passed their RfA for failure to use edit summaries in non-article namespace. --jonny-mt 08:20, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks, --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 06:56, 23 June 2008 (UTC).
That's perfectly fine! I'm sure jonny-mt and I can wait for you! We've got your back!
L337p4wn (talk) 09:00, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
- In response to your question: Right now I would wait. While I think you are very close to being ready, I would follow everything you and Rlevse said here. July 10 is only a little more than 15 days away, and I think a lot of benefit could come of waiting just a bit longer. If you disagree and Rlevse and the others decide to go through with a nomination, then just contact me and I'll write one up anyway. It's up to you, but I'd wait just a bit longer :). Malinaccier (talk) 20:18, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
- I agree, and was thinking about waiting a couple months, actually; However long it will typically take, I'll gladly be willing to wait. Thanks for all the support, everyone. I think I'll try around July 10th, (maybe later) as I need some time for a few recent mistakes to become truly historical. :-) Thanks for the interest, and I hope you won't mind waiting! --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 00:34, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- Ah, I didn't realize you were already doing admin coaching! I agree with waiting a little longer (that's the reason I didn't offer you a nomination first)--I think your current admin coaches will be more than sufficient, but if you'd like another co-nom then please let me know! --jonny-mt 04:24, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

RFA comments
Thanks for your "leaning towards support" comment. I did not use Huggle before June 14th, so if you go back past that, you can get a better idea of my contributions -- many of which are reverts using Twinkle instead of Huggle, admittedly.--SarekOfVulcan (talk) 04:38, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the heads-up, but what I meant is, it doesn't matter whether it's Huggle, TW, AWB or even too much Lupin — many contributers don't like to see a load of automated edits, as they don't take too much work to perform and get in the way of quality editing (which isn't to say that your vandal-fighting is not constructive, but it wouldn't hurt to see more encyclopaedia-building by the time the month's out). Sorry for the oppose however, I just like to see more encyclopaedia editing and less mechanical reversion. :-) Cheers, --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 04:42, 24 June 2008 (UTC).
- I see your point. Is this point in my contribution history more like what you want to see? Blanking pages?
Did you mean me blanking my own userpage? I've done that in the past because after reading rules it states i'm allowed to, it helps me keep track of current messages when they're added, and it removes the orange box that comes with a new messages indicator.
Or maybe the uncited claim thing? I've already discussed this with another member and as far as I know the issues is resolved so I was curious as to the reason behind your 'warning' on my page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.90.224.167 (talk) 05:31, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
- Hello. As a general note, you may wish to use edit summaries in the future so other editors don't think you are vandalising your user talk page, as when you leave the edit summary field blank, an automatic edit summary appears as Blanked the page, notifying Recent changes patrollers of page blanking. Such blanking is usually considered vandalism. If you're interested in organising your messages, it is usually a better idea to archive it instead of merely removing it, though you are fully entitled to do so. Cheers, --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 05:40, 24 June 2008 (UTC).
Hey Mizu...
Do you want a name graphic? I saw that Sango123 had one, so I'm thinking of making some in my Adobe Photoshop. Want one?
L337 p4wn 12:08, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
- What do you mean by name graphic, exactly? Do you mean a custom signature (because I already have one of those — see?), by chance? I like your new one, BTW. Cheers, --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 17:07, 24 June 2008 (UTC).
It's not a signature, just a graphic. It makes userpages pretty! >.<
Truthfully, I'm impressed by the work I did for the graphic. It turned out excellent (And thanks for the signature comment!) L337*P4wn 17:12, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
- Oh, yes, I see what you mean, now. I rather like those, actually. Perhaps later, though, because a lot of RfA contributers don't like to see fancy graphics or signatures — I think I'm pushing it just having kanji in my sig. Thanks for the offer, though, and nice job on the graphic! :-) --Mizu onna sango15/水女珊瑚15 17:16, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
Ok, that's fine! (Thanks! ;D) L337*P4wn 17:22, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
(I know we're off this subject, but I just had to tell you...) My graphic is on my page!

- Excellent job. :-) I think I'll get one later, but probably not for a while. --Mizu onna sango15/Discuss 15:03, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
That's fine. I just wanted somebody to see my work. :)
L337*P4wn 15:08, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- By the way, I didn't quite understand what you meant previously — did you make Sango123's graphic yourself? --Mizu onna sango15/Discuss 15:11, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
Heavens no! I wish I could have, lol. I was just using that as an example. L337*P4wn 15:25, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- Oh. Nice job on yours, however. ;-) Have you done others? --Mizu onna sango15/Discuss 15:31, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
Thank you. Well, I have made MySpace graphics for me and some friends...
But that's really about it.
Although, I do enter some of my real photos to photo contests! :-)

concerning this user
Concerning the user BackgroundGraphics, i feel that unless there is a company with that name, it may not be promotional to a company, and the name will be okay. I am currently researching right now to see if there is a company of that name, so please be patient. Any questions or comments go on my talk page. Thank you. CSD tagging of non-notable bios
I noticed that you have been using {{db-vandalism}} on various bios that new editors are putting up about themselves. These bios are not really vandalism and you should probably use {{db-bio}} instead. In the case of User:Mr.pillow25, I userfied the article. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:42, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for notifying me, I assumed incorrectly that his username was a parody of the article (I've seen this a lot), which I took to be vandalism. On the other hand, I don't recall having done this before; I don't use {{db-vandalism}} or {{db-g3}} very often. Cheers and thanks again, --Mizu onna sango15/Discuss 08:51, 28 June 2008 (UTC).
Hmmm...
Well, I don't really know what would happen if I did do an RfA. >.< I'd hope they would have the brains not to judge on age, and more on my edits and work. Oh well, when the time comes...we'll see!

- Nicely done. You might want to add an WP:AGF note, also. Besides, by the time you accept a nomination (or nominate yourself), it will probably be an immaterial issue, most editors are only worrying about someone who's twelve. Cheers, and well done. --Mizu onna sango15/Discuss 23:16, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
My RfA
Hello Mizu onna sango15! I withdrew my nomination. Thank you for supporting me. Most editors who opposed my RfA expressed that I need to argue better in AfDs. Copyedit Request
Hi, if it's no bother, may you copyedit Backlash (2003)?--SRX--LatinoHeat 16:58, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
- I'm a little busy with my current copyedits (I have about three on request, and a few more), so I don't think I will be able to get to it anytime soon. :-( I apologise for the inconvenience. Cheers, --Mizu onna sango15/Discuss 18:39, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
Soundtrack to Sweeney Todd
I am not "deleting" it in any sense, and it is is not nearly "too big" to be put into the main film article. AFD is about whether an article should be deleted or not, it has no bearing on whether or not it should ever be merged. It fits the article well, makes it more complete. And while the soundtrack article is notable, it does not assert enough notability to grow to GA or FA, so it is prudent to keep it merged. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 19:36, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
- I understand what you're saying, and I know you are not deleting it. I am informing you that the consensus was (however long ago the AFD closed) that the article should neither be deleter nor merged, because editors found that the main article was too large. While I see your merger as legitimate, the result of the AFD was not to merge it at all. I thought I'd just let you know. :-) Cheers, --Mizu onna sango15/Discuss 19:41, 29 June 2008 (UTC).
- By the way, I would kindly reccomend you hold off on the GA nomination just yet (unless you've already nominated it) because I'm currently having it copyediting for FA status before the end of July (hopefully). Thanks, --Mizu onna sango15/Discuss 19:45, 29 June 2008 (UTC).
- Perhaps that was consensus then, but its really just the addition of a tracklist and a short paragraph, which is not too much. Besides, after this gets copyedited, the article will get lighter. Also, I did nominate it for GA, but that shouldn't interrupt your efforts, may generate additional feedback. I'll respond to any requests that are made at GA review. Judgesurreal777 (talk) 20:57, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
- Agreed. Thanks for understanding, and happy editing (and I can't tell you how happy I was to see you nominate it, so thank you immensely for that as well). :-) Cheers, --Mizu onna sango15/Discuss 21:47, 29 June 2008 (UTC).

Copyedit
Hi Mizu Onna Sango15, I got your name from WP:PRV and was wondering if you would have time to copyedit an article I have at peer review right now? If so the article is the Earle Mack School of Law and the current peer review can be found here. If you're too busy right now that's ok, I'm just trying to get this up to GA status sometime within the next month and if you would be willing I would appreciate it. Thanks :) --ImmortalGoddezz (t/c) 05:29, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
- Are we expected to remove our names from the list when we're too backlogged? I'm sorry, I'm just too busy as of present with the other copyedits I have now. :-( Best of luck for GA status, and if I can be of any help to you later (say, in the GA nomination next month when I should be finished copyediting most articles), I'd be more than happy to help out! Cheers, --Mizu onna sango15/Discuss 13:31, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
- No clue about the name removal from the list, perhaps temporarily striking out your name would work? As far as the copyediting that's ok, I know a lot of copyeditors get bamboozled with requests. :) Thanks anyway! --ImmortalGoddezz (t/c) 15:38, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

CAADRIA Yoru request for deletion
Hi, the Association for Couputer-Aided Architectural Design Research in Asia is a non-profit organisation registered in Hong Kong. It conducts conferences and promotes research in the area of Computer-Aided Architectural Design (CAAD). It is a part of a federaton of organisations invoved in this type of research all over the world. Some of our assiciated organisations, namely ASCAAD, eCAADe and ACADIA already maintain pages on Wikipedia, and we have just followed their example to make our page here.
Could you be a little more specific about the issues as to why this page is marked for speedy deletion? If there are errors in presentation or editorial issues, I will be glad to correct themVetinarih (talk) 15:21, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
- The article seems to be promotional in tone, and I identified it as spam (whether or not it's not-for-profit). Could you copyedit the article to ensure that it is of a neutral POV and that there is no conflict of interest regarding its subject matter? Other than that, I don't see anything else blatantly wrong with it. Cheers, --Mizu onna sango15/Discuss 15:25, 30 June 2008 (UTC).

Demon barber (again)
Hi Mizu ;) It's been good to make some progress today - you wouldn't believe how busy I've been recently! There's only really the lead and plot summary left, plus various MoS tweaks, so hopefully another day or two should see it done. I'll also go through the copyedit section on the talk page and strike out things we've resolved (but tomorrow now...) All the best, EyeSerenetalk 18:36, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
- No problem, ES! I'm quite busy myself, what with an upcoming RfA, and my current copyedit requests to attend to, and various sorts of things, but I'm thrilled that you're assisting me! Thanks again, and happy (copy) editing! :) --Mizu onna sango15/Discuss 18:38, 30 June 2008 (UTC)

Copy edits and the backlog
Hi there!
I noticed you were active in the former league of copy-editors. I joined the LOCE something like a few days before it became historical, and have been making a lonely effort to reduce the copy-edit backlog so I've been curious - why did the LOCE close, are there any efforts going on out there to reduce the copy-edit backlog, and do you think there's a point in establishing (and would you join) a wikiproject purely to maintain the category of articles needing copy edits? Thanks ;) -Samuel Tan (talk) 09:55, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
- Hello Samuel! As for your question, the reason as to why is purely that; few members were still active at all within the project, and we had a backlog of nearly a hundred articles, many requests being months old. After taking it up at MFD, the discussion was closed with the consensus that it should be marked as {{historical}}. Currently, members that are still interested in reducing the backlog are listed at WP:PRV.
- Personally speaking, I don't know if it's a good idea to establish another WikiProject, as it will probably suffer the same fate as LoCE did, but we are still discussing it at WT:LOCE whether or not we prevailing members should stay to clean up the backlog or just add the subpages to CAT:COPYEDIT (where it was much more likely for a tagged article to be copyedited swiftly than LoCE, incidentally). If you're interested in assisting us, I reccomend adding yourself to the list at WP:PRV or bringing it up at LoCE or the Village Pump. :-)
- Hope that helps! Cheers, --Mizu onna sango15/Discuss 19:15, 2 July 2008 (UTC).
Copyedit request
Hello...the Cold War article is up for FA status, and we've received some feedback about our prose, and would like to have a pair (or two pair) of fresh eyes to contribute to making the prose better so we can be a better article and pass the test. Thanks for any help you give. Hires an editor (talk) 13:49, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
RfA thanks
Thank you for your support in my recent RfA, which closed successfully. I felt the process was a thorough review of my contributions and my demeanor, and I was very gratified to see how many editors took the time to really see what I'm about and how I can be of help to the project. As a result, some editors changed their views during the discussion, and most expressed specific, detailed points to indicate their opinion (whether it was , , or ).
A number of editors were concerned about my level of experience. I was purposeful in not waiting until a particular benchmark occurred before requesting adminship, because I feel - as many do - that adminship is not a reward and that each case is individual. It is true that I am not the most experienced editor around here, but I appreciate that people dug into my contributions enough to reach the conclusion that I seem to have a clue. Also, the best thing about this particular concern is that experience is something an editor - or administrator - can always get more of, and I'll continue doing that, just as I've been doing. (If I seem a little slow at it, feel free to slap me.)
I am a strong believer in the concept that this project is all about the content, and I'm looking forward to contributing wherever I can. Please let me know if I can be of any help. In the meantime, I'm off to school...
Thanks again!
