Thanks
Thanks for your edits to Bengal famine. It needed a fix that retained the consistent use of relevant templates... but I am grateful for your willingness to jump in. Lingzhi ♦ (talk) 23:51, 24 January 2018 (UTC)
- @Lingzhi: I'm curious; why do you believe the abuse of the loc= parameter of the sfn template is "required" over using the harvnb template explicitly, and appending the desired text directly in the ref tag? -- Mikeblas (talk) 12:13, 25 January 2018 (UTC)
- Answer: The world is an interesting place, isn't it?
- Further: I see you're a programmer. I'm very new to javascript (as in, two days or so ago) and am working on a script to do some source review chores: User:Lingzhi/reviewsourcecheck.js. If you have any idea at all why the bottom-most section ("third check", which is attempting unsuccessfully to show an error msg if the Reference section isn't sorted correctly, assuming that templates are being used) is doing exactly nothing, your comments would be profoundly valuable... Thanks again! Lingzhi ♦ (talk) 12:46, 25 January 2018 (UTC)
