This account has been blocked indefinitely as a sock puppet of 1STBank (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · page moves · block user · logs · block log · arb · rfc · lta · SPI · cuwiki) that was created to violate Wikipedia policy. Note that using multiple accounts is allowed, but using them for illegitimate reasons is not, and that all edits made while evading a block or ban may be reverted or deleted. If this account is not a sock puppet, and you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}} below. —SpacemanSpiff 02:06, 29 September 2017 (UTC) |

Request reason:
I don't fully understand what a sock block is but I am the SEO at Firstbank. I am expanding our page because it has been a shell for years and is inaccurate on google. I am a reliable source and have included several citations to back up the edits I have made. Please remove this block so I can continue to keep this page updated in the future. MikeSEO (talk) 16:10, 29 September 2017 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You do not count as a reliable source; see WP:RS. Additionally, you are violating WP:COI, WP:PAID, and WP:PROMO. Once you have read those policies, if you wish to edit about something for which you do not have a conflict of interest, you are welcome to request unblocking. Note that there are ways to suggest changes to the article on Firstbank; the policies I've linked to explain what you'd need to do. So if that's your intention, you are welcome to request an unblock and state very specifically how you would adhere to our policies. Yamla (talk) 16:21, 29 September 2017 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:
Fair enough. The response was a bit sassy, but I do understand the logic behind conflict of interest posting. Moving forward I will suggest edits on the talk page of FirstBank instead of doing the edits myself. If and when I am unblocked I will disclose on my user page that I am the SEO at FirstBank and thus will fall under the paid editor section on Firstbank related pages. MikeSEO (talk) 17:56, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
Accept reason:
Be sure not to make any direct edits to areas with which you have WP:COI. BE sure to properly disclose your connection per WP:PAID. Vanjagenije (talk) 20:50, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
@Vanjagenije Understood. Thank you. MikeSEO (talk) 20:53, 4 October 2017 (UTC)
