About Me
[edit]Hi, I am Micky 1234567890123, and I live in Newcastle, England. I currently go to Oxclose Community School in Washington. I am quite interested in aeroplanes and aviation. I am not so interested in History and Literacy. I am quite good at mathematics, as I know what 12 x 12 is off the top of my head (144) (Not bragging or anything!). I am currently in Year 8, and I would like to become a professional author when I leave school. I am already writing a 150 page long book called 'The War', set in London in 2012.
Insomnia
[edit]Hello. I noticed you created the page Insomina. It's actually spelled Insomnia, so we're redirect the page to reflect that. justinfr (talk) 19:05, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
Mimo
[edit]Thanks for your message. Your article Finding Mimo was nominated for speedy deletion by Justinfr as blatant advertising. On inspection, it seemed to me to also fail general notability guidelines. If you disagree, you can appeal my decision at deletion review. Bucketsofg 19:09, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
Oh, thats fine. Just checking! Micky 1234567890123 (talk) 19:13, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
- Hi again, and welcome to wikipedia. I don't want you to get discouraged from contributing right away, even though it looks like some articles you've been involved with are being deleted. You might want to read the article Why Was My page deleted?. It can sometimes be tricky to realize what subject might be notable and warrant its own encyclopedia article, so it might be advisable to focus on making smaller edits to existing articles rather than making your own right away. If you have any questions, please ask me on my talk page or ask the question here with the notation: {{helpme}} before it, and somebody will come by to answer your question.justinfr (talk) 19:13, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
Bin Weevils
[edit]- Hello, Micky. First, you're welcome for the redirect. I know how it can go--I often type too fast myself.
- Second, I nominated Bin Weevils for deletion because I thought it looked a lot like advertising for the website. In fact, there's a bit of a history with that article you might not be familiar with--it seems people from the company have tried to create the page as advertising before, which is not allowed for companies. See [1] and [2]. When I nominated the article, I didn't see that it was you who created it--I just thought it looked like the spam entries that had been deleted before.
- However, Black Kite deleted it under criteria WP:CSD#A7, which means that it was web content that didn't note why the subject was notable. That is, why it should be the topic for an encyclopedia. I took a look at the articles Club Penguin and Adventure Rock. You're right, there are lots of adventure games out there, so what makes those two notable and Bin Weevils probably not? I'd say because the other two games have received significant attention in independent media sources. That is, both of those games received coverage in the New York Times, Globe and Mail, on the BBC, etc. If Bin Weevils is making news like that, then it should be recreated with those references included.
- Lastly, if you feel we made a mistake in deleting the page, you can visit Wikipedia:Deletion review and ask for a review of the process. I hope this explanation has been helpful; feel free to ask me a question anytime. justinfr (talk) 14:04, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
No, I do not feel as if you have made a mistake removing Bin Weevils. (Thanks for the advice on Clarence Charles).
Moving Articles Into Wikipedia
[edit]- When you're creating articles, they're been started as wikipedia articles, which are different than user pages. Please read the user page guidelines. Because the pages you're creating are in the main wikipedia area, not the user area, other people will probably delete them. Your user-related pages need to be in your user area. That is, they need to be under Micky 1234567890123, not under Micky and not under Mickypedia. justinfr (talk) 15:43, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
Thanks! Micky 1234567890123 (talk) 15:49, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
Name Changes
[edit]If you would like to change your name, the process is outlined here: Wikipedia:USERNAME#Changing_your_username justinfr (talk) 15:55, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the tip Justin, but I'm sticking to my original username! Micky 1234567890123 (talk) 15:59, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
Other users' talk pages
[edit]Hi again. Just a friendly note--it's generally frowned upon to delete material from others' talk pages, even if it's your own discussion. Sometimes people like to keep all of their comments archived in case it's needed in the future. I restored the info on mine. Cheers.... justinfr (talk) 18:40, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
Hey Justinfr, A Friendly Notice
[edit]Hey, please check out Randomgong's talk page. User talk:Randomgong
- Hi Micky, thanks for your help. The editor was upset I nominated some pages he had edited for deletion. Cheers... justinfr (talk) 18:35, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
Feel Free To Reference
[edit]You may reference some of my articles. Oh, and feel free to add information!
- Firebugs - Main Problem: Unreferenced
- Tachia Newall - Main Problem: Unreferenced, More information needed.
I have nominated your article for deletion because of references which do not lead to verifiable sources. However there are links, it would be appreciated to delete the red links. It is generally frowned upon to include comments which may or may not be factual (as I have said in the deletion note). I have also noticed that this article was nominated for deletion once before by Justinfr, however this was accidental. I would also like to point out that you questioned the first nominated deletion of this article, however upon viewing the article, I made the decision that this article was not worthy of Wikipedia status. If you think that we have made the wrong decision placing a deletion tag on your article, please respond to this message. Micky 1234567890123 (talk) 17:58, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
- I don't understand your complaint with the article. Abyssal (talk) 02:09, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- By "red links" I assume you mean the broken citations. I fixed 'em. As far as stuff that "may or may not be true," everything in the article is either fully true ("so and so said this is what the alien that abducted her looked like") or a properly attributed opinion. The skeptical perspective is underrepresented just because I don't have the resources to be able to do that. Anyway, I'm removing the deletion notice. Abyssal (talk) 18:03, 29 August 2008 (UTC)

CP Wiki
[edit]I was just wondering: do you edit it? --Yowuza ZX Wolfie 10:45, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
Erm, no. this. --Yowuza ZX Wolfie 16:58, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
I said: The Club Penguin Wiki. --Yowuza ZX Wolfie 17:53, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
- If you mean: Do I Edit The Club Penguin Wiki article, then no. I haven't yet. Maybe I should create an account on Wikia. Hey, how did you get my username on Wikipedia anyway? Micky 1234567890123 (talk) 17:56, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
- Erm, I was just wondering. --Yowuza ZX Wolfie 17:59, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
- Just enter your age as 13, I think they set up age limits on Wikia. When I joined though, they didn't have them. --Yowuza ZX Wolfie 18:05, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
Desktop Destroyer
[edit]Hello. I attached a "PROD" tag to the article because it didn't give any reasons as to why the program would be notable. Note that the article won't be deleted for five days, though, which gives you a chance to improve it. See the page I just linked, and also this one (especially the "Gathering references" section. Hope this helps, Black Kite 14:49, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
- Hi - don't include the {{hangon}} template on the article, because it isn't a speedy deletion. In fact, including that template actually makes the article show up in CAT:CSD, the category of articles for speedy deletion. Thanks, Black Kite 14:55, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 18:05, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Desktop Destroyer
[edit]A tag has been placed on Desktop Destroyer, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Mission Fleg (talk) 06:57, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

How Is 'Moto The Robot' An Offensive Username?
[edit]{{unblock-auto|1=92.21.158.149|2=Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Moto The Robot". The reason given for Moto The Robot's block is: "{{UsernameHardBlocked}}".|3=Versageek|4=1298678}}
- I don't think I'd call that username offensive, either, but it seems to be connected to Moto The Robot (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log), which was behaving rather disruptively. Looks like it's one of several accounts active from the IP addresses in question. Any chance you could explain the connection between this account, Wikisatan666 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log), and that one? – Luna Santin (talk) 00:18, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- I imagine it's our restriction against usernames that sound like bots that aren't actually approved bots. You'd think one account would suffice for this editor, though. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 00:23, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- And I think we decided in collaboration with the bot people that a username ending in "Robot" was actually OK. Although Moto's edits are, as we say at UAA, not promising. Daniel Case (talk) 04:13, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
- The account originally blocked was Moto The Robot (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log).
- Moto's block ({{uw-vaublock}}) complains both about a bad user name and vandalism. I wouldn't touch that block, which seems justified. I'm leaving a note for Versageek to see if he wants to lift the autoblock, which would allow User:Micky 1234567890123 to resume editing. Versageek can judge whether the bad behavior of Moto should be held against Micky. EdJohnston (talk) 07:51, 1 February 2009 (UTC)

- Just for the record, Moto is my little brother, he also created the account User:Wikisatan666. I have stopped him from going on Wikipedia any more so those two accounts are not active. This is why all 3 accounts have the same I.P. address. This account (Micky 1234567890123) is by me though. I advise not blocking the IP address of my little brother's account, as you would also be blocking me. You will not see any more editing from those two accounts, I promise you! =)
AfD nomination of Free Rider 2
[edit]I have nominated Free Rider 2, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Free Rider 2. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
