[edit]

Nicely done for this week, Michael. Please keep up the great work. Keep writing full and thorough answers, and keep paying good attention to the Wikipedia pages that you come across. Alfgarciamora (talk) 20:50, 30 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox Questions

[edit]

This Question section is for anyone who has questions on the infobox. I will be adding important information for how to add and create an infobox.

  1. When adding an infobox you go only to the source code. that is the easiest way to create and edit one.

you wil use the code

   Infobox connector

....in double squiggly brackets

  • Connector is the type. look at the next number for info on type.
  1. Each infobox has a type, in example of Georges Danton , the infobox type is Officeholder. Look at the parameters of those types. you can find an example in the site called Infobox. Some examples of parameters include type, course, author, region.
  2. In the example of Danton, a parameter you call "sibling" if you are adding family members does not exist under the type officeholder. However, a parameter called relative works.
  3. Last, for all parameters available under "officeholder" go to Template:Infobox_officeholder.
  4. If you have any questions, please ask.

Peer Review for Article Draft

[edit]
  • So for the first couple of sentences, there are a couple grammatical errors, but nothing too major. For example, the third sentence should be "Also, he had a very high natural IQ." Another thing is to put the source that you used to create this draft in the draft instead of a side note, but that's just something that can be done before putting it onto the actual page. I think for this amount of writing, two sources are appropriate. Later on, when you add more, you'll need more sources as you're aware of. I think this is a good when adding to the education section of Danton's page. I also think the wording is very good since it's not too complicated to understand.Jgarc800 (talk) 21:54, 26 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
thanks. i will keep this into consideration. Michael Garcia (IDH1001) (talk) 16:18, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Week 8

[edit]

You've got some great stuff here, Michael Garcia (IDH1001), but you did not really do the assignment as listed for Week 8. Please take the time this week to weave your details into the mainspace of your article and make sure that it all flows nicely. This is important - make sure it is encyclopedic, that it fits the sections, and that it's all properly cited. Best of luck. Alfgarciamora (talk) 16:09, 20 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
