[edit]Hello, I'm Qed237. I noticed that you recently removed some content from UEFA Euro 2016 Group E without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I have restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. [edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2015–16 Everton F.C. season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sunderland. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Please don't put those flags in those infoboxes. Thanks. Drmies (talk) 05:28, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
Why not? Mediocre Legacy (talk) 12:33, 9 February 2017 (EST)
- Because it is a violation of the guideline for flag icons, and a violation of WP:OVERLINK. Drmies (talk) 05:36, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
- I see nowhere on the page where there is a link to which country hosted the tournament. Mediocre Legacy (talk) 12:38, 9 February 2017 (EST)
- Good! There doesn't need to be. That's the essence of WP:OVERLINK--linking to the US or Brazil or whatever from a page about the World Cup serves little purpose and just floods the page with blue links, which makes it harder to read. Drmies (talk) 16:06, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
One more reminder about the flags, next time will be a warning or a block. Qed237 (talk) 09:49, 15 March 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to 1962 FIFA World Cup does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Drmies (talk) 05:35, 9 February 2017 (UTC)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on List of international goals scored by Robert Lewandowski, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Repeat links
[edit]According to WP:REPEATLINK, it's usually best to only have one link to an article in a second article although tables can be an exception. I noticed that your recent change to the Canadian Championship intentionally added REPEATLINKs. Is it necessary to link the team name every time? I can change that for you if you want, or you can go an apply it to the whole article as practice. Walter Görlitz (talk) 05:51, 28 June 2017 (UTC)

Re: July 2017
[edit]Dear User, Please note that changing the goal times and player names have not occured. In cases like Inter Milan vs Olympique Lyonnais matches and the player names like A. Iwobi, C.Bacca need to be edited in some situations as they are commonly known under that name i.e., they are popular in that type of pronounciation. They are popularly grown into professionals under that title, Same goes in cases of players Stevan Jovetić, Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford. Plus, player names with the full name or (First letter of first name).(dot) Last name is a more formal and professional way of expressing player names. In cases like Daley Blind, please note that there is a common confusion amidst people even though Danny Blind is a retired footballer. The goal timings were only changed in the match Inter Milan vs Olympique Lyonnais. Please note that these were the official times of goal on the Lyon official twitter handle at the time of Stevan Jovetić goal. No type of vandalism has been attempted, please refrain from using such assumptions without being sure about it. This is not a warning, but just a reply to your message.

Edit summaries
[edit]Hey! Please consider using edit summaries when you remove large parts of articles. In the World Cup article, it seems you are moving content from the main article into sub-articles (right?). However, without edit summaries, it looks like you are just blanking parts of the article. I'm not going to even ask taht you to use edit summaries for EVERY edit, but when you are doing things which could appear to be vandalism or otherwise improper, I would SUGGEST it. That's all I'm doing. Anyway, cheers! --‡ Єl Cid of ᐺalencia ᐐT₳LKᐬ 07:00, 15 November 2017 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, Regarding your edit with the summary Payet's goal was not a penalty. - I would invite you to please cite this with a source, because the current source the match report says it was a penalty. Hi Gricehead, I viewed the highlights of Marseille's win on a video, and this is where I saw that Payet's goal was in fact a free kick, not a penalty. The video can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E4oMcAaQgp4 (Payet's goal is around the 0:38 second mark)

Serie A Goalkeeper of the Year
[edit]Hi Mediocre Legacy, about this edit of yours, I think it is inaccurate to mix up two different awards and ceremony (Lega and AIC). While it seems like the AIC award for the keeper has been discontinued, the best goalkeeper is still chosen within the same ceremony, therefore the award is still assigned. It is just false to state that "Since 2019, the Best Goalkeeper award is given as part of the Serie A Awards" as the Oscar del Calcio for the year 2019, which will include the selection of the best goalkeeper, will be regularly assigned at the start of next year. --Tanonero (msg) 08:54, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Vaselineeeeeeee: @Messirulez: (I tagged you two as you were involved in these pages). I think we should start thinking about created separated pages for both awards (given these freshly established Serie A awards) by putting AIC next to the title of the original prizes. Otherwise, we will stumble upon possible awkard situations, like having two different winners for Serie A Goalkeeper of the Year which would mess up the template as well. --Tanonero (msg) 09:10, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
- Hi, @Vaselineeeeeeee: and @Tanonero:; I agree with you both. The original Serie A Best Goalkeeper of the Year Award was later replaced by the goalkeeper in the Serie A Team of the Year, as both were/are awarded by AIC (currently at the Gran Galà del Calcio and formerly gli Oscar del Calcio), whereas the new award is awarded by the Lega Serie A, so they shouldn't be mixed up as they are awarded by different organisational bodies. If anything, we can add a "see also" link to the other pages at the bottom, as they are similar awards after all. But including them on the same page would be like listing together the winners of the Ballon d'Or and the UEFA Best Player in Europe. I think putting AIC before the original prize would certainly help, and maybe a new page should be created for the individual Lega Serie A awards (if necessary; there is a page that I created for the new Lega Serie A Awards, which might suffice), as I don't think that the AIC awards have been discontinued as far as I know, and it doesn't make sense to include the new Serie A award under the same page, when it isn't awarded by AIC, and when it specifically states in the lead that the award is officially known as the Goalkeeper of the Year AIC. Thanks! Best regards, Messirulez (talk) 12:23, 21 May 2019 (UTC)
- @Tanonero:, @Messirulez: Thanks for the notification. Yes, we could split the Lega and AIC goalkeeper awards to keep each award organization different. If we don't split them, the Serie A Best Goalkeeper shouldn't be part of this page, as it is not a continuation of these awards, therefore Messirulez has already made Serie A Awards page. (Also we should move further discussion to the talk page of the article). Vaselineeeeeeee★★★ 13:42, 21 May 2019 (UTC)

Hello there,
please, do you think you can find the possibility of (wrongly) stopping adding the NON-FIFA appearances to the player's total of caps? Both NFT.com and RSSSF attest to the fact three appearances are not to be counted, heck, the second site even mentions the match against Guadeloupe was suspended.
Please, some respect for other people's work. Thanks. --81.193.141.118 (talk) 04:14, 20 June 2019 (UTC)

National varieties of English
[edit]Hello. In a recent edit to the page 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup Final, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.
For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to another English-speaking country, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the original author of the article used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk. American English doesn't typically insert hyphens in quarterfinals or shootouts, nor does it use a plural in that manner. Also, not everything in the route section is immediately outdated...in no way does the U.S. no longer have a rivalry; please be more careful when editing. SounderBruce 03:50, 9 July 2019 (UTC)
I just wanted to remind you about WP:Overlink, you shouldn't link to the same article multiple times, that's why when adding the schedule games on season pages you really don't need to continue to link to the club of that season page per the rule. If you look at my last few edits on 2019–20 Tottenham Hotspur F.C. season you will see what I am on about. Cheers. Govvy (talk) 16:54, 14 July 2019 (UTC)

Please don't change the format of dates, as you did to 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup Final. As a general rule, if an article has evolved using predominantly one format, the dates should be left in the format they were originally written in, unless there are reasons for changing it based on strong national ties to the topic. Please also note that Wikipedia does not use ordinal suffixes (e.g., st, nd, th), articles, or leading zeros on dates.
For more information about how dates should be written on Wikipedia, please see this page.

Infobox timestamps
[edit]Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. Welcome to Wikipedia! I just wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions were not quite right. When updating statistics within the infobox of a footballer, please make sure you update the timestamp at the same time, so that both readers and fellow editors know when the information was last updated.
You can do this by replacing the existing timestamp within the |club-update=
or |pcupdate=
parameter for club stats, or the |nationalteam-update=
or |ntupdate=
parameter for international stats. For articles that use a DMY date format, use five tildes (~~~~~), or for MDY dates, use . This will generate the specific time the update was made.
If you have any questions about this, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you, Mattythewhite (talk) 22:49, 9 February 2020 (UTC)
- Please keep this in mind. There's no need to change them needlessly, like you did here. Mattythewhite (talk) 13:20, 4 April 2020 (UTC)

I apologize. However, these are not "false stats". If you view the players on their national team pages, their appearances and goals include these non-FIFA appearances (they also still show up on NFT provided links). I will try and stop including appearances that are not A-level internationals in the future, however going so far as to call them "false stats" given the provided information is simply not true. Mediocre Legacy (talk) 11:32, 10 June 2020 (UTC)
- The stats are not correct; that means they are false. You have been told to only include official matches multiple times, and yet you have continued to fail to do so. GiantSnowman 11:35, 10 June 2020 (UTC)
Just because the matches aren't official doesn't make them "false". National team articles as well as lists of players with the most caps include these appearances as well. Mediocre Legacy (talk) 11:41, 10 June 2020 (UTC)

- @Lightbluerain: I think you made a mistake in reverting Mediocre Legacy's changes. One change fixes dashes, the other fixes a nonsensical date. Robby.is.on (talk) 08:36, 27 May 2020 (UTC)
- @Robby.is.on:, I agree the date was non-sensical, but I feel a reliable source was needed to determine the exact date. Lightbluerain❄ (Talk | contribs) 10:18, 27 May 2020 (UTC)
- @Lightbluerain: I don't think a blunt revert that includes the revert of an unproblematic change (fixing the dashes) and a warning template can serve as encouragement. A comment like "please include a reference for the date" would be much more constructive. Robby.is.on (talk) 13:08, 27 May 2020 (UTC)
Hi, could you explain why you reverted me at Template:UEFA Champions League performance by club, restoring flags that are in violation of WP:MOSFLAG? Mattythewhite (talk) 22:08, 30 May 2020 (UTC)
European competitions have generally used flags to differentiate countries (even in the infobox). Also, every article for different seasons of UEFA competitions (Champions League, Europa League, etc.) has the country flags of the winners and runners-ups displayed in the infobox. Mediocre Legacy (talk) 22:11, 30 May 2020 (UTC)
- Did you even look at WP:MOSFLAG? Nothing you said is an actual defence of that particular use of flags. Mattythewhite (talk) 22:13, 30 May 2020 (UTC)
Ok, but in that case you have to change the infoboxes of other competitions that include the flags as well, not just that one. Mediocre Legacy (talk) 22:15, 30 May 2020 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Ryan Giggs; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. [edit]Hi. Please stop doing this. It goes against long-established WP:FOOTY consensus which fellow editor "FkpCascais" refers to in this discussion:
"This issue has been setled long time ago. It was decided the timestamp would indicate that the stats are correct as to the date, rather than indicating the date of the last game. Once this was decided, updating a timestamp with correct stats is allways beneficial. Having an old timestamp is unproductive as it leaves readers wandering if stats may have changed by now."
Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 07:18, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Robby.is.on: The above refers to the infobox timestamp, not the date in the career stats table. As far as I can see, Mediocre was correct with their change. Mattythewhite (talk) 09:45, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
- @Mattythewhite: That doesn't make sense. Yes, the discussion does not mention career stats tables. But why wouldn't the same reasoning apply? It seems common sense to me. Does this require another discussion at WP:FOOTY? Robby.is.on (talk) 09:51, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
- You're welcome to start a discussion, but it's common practice to use the date of the last match in the career stats table, as long as the text 'match played' is included to make that clear. But including the text "match played 18 June 2020", which is what you restored, is factually incorrect when the match was actually played on 17 June. Mattythewhite (talk) 10:08, 19 June 2020 (UTC)

Hmm, not sure. It is doable and would provide some additional useful info, but would also take a lot of time/space on the page and I'm not sure if it would be allowed to stay. It is worth considering though, if you're capable of doing it. Thanks for the praise! Mediocre Legacy (talk) 00:34, 20 November 2020 (UTC)

NOTBROKEN again?
[edit]Is there a reason you continue to ignore WP:NOTBROKEN? Walter Görlitz (talk) 07:26, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
It is the commonly referred to name of the teams, as seen in their own league page as well as this season's article on the Europa League (Wolfsberger AC). Just aiming for consistency Mediocre Legacy (talk) 07:28, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Mattythewhite: asked you about this above, and you did not respond. In this case, you're doing it with MLS teams, not Bundesliga articles. Regardless, please stop doing it. It's entirely unnecessary. Walter Görlitz (talk) 07:32, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
Sorry, I thought you were talking about Europa League 2018/19, not MLS, my mistake. In some cases it was just an example of what the team was referred to as at the time (Los Angeles Galaxy vs LA Galaxy, Houston Dynamo vs Houston Dynamo FC, etc.) In the future I will try not to edit the hyperlinks if the outer links stay the same, my apologies. Mediocre Legacy (talk) 07:35, 15 December 2020 (UTC)

Stats tables
[edit]Hi, I'm just wondering what's with some recent changes to stats tables like this, with changes to wording in footnotes in stats tables? Thanks, Mattythewhite (talk) 00:12, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
Simply for better understanding as well as to easily differentiate one or multiple appearances without confusion or needing to change infobox on severval occasions Mediocre Legacy (talk) 13:09, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
- But in those instances the appearances in each competition were all multiple. I would only use the brackets (i.e. 'Appearance(s)') when there's instances of one *and* multiple appearances in a competition (e.g. Shaun Rooney#Career statistics footnote C for Scottish Challenge Cup appearances). Mattythewhite (talk) 23:34, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
Perhaps, but I just did it to account for any future seasons with appearances in those competitions, as it's the same note being used for all of them. Mediocre Legacy (talk) 23:53, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
Honours section
[edit]Hi, why are you adding "club", "international", and "individual" sub headings? Nehme1499 18:34, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
It's a commonly used way to organize/separate honours Mediocre Legacy (talk) 18:34, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
- It's not needed. See Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Players#Honours. Nehme1499 18:36, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
- I just see it used on players very commonly 🤷♂️ Mediocre Legacy (talk) 18:38, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
- No worries. It just looks a bit too cluttered. It's best to keep it simple. By the way, in the {{updated template, in the career statistics section, there is no need to add a period at the end of the date. Periods are needed for complete sentences ("Updated as of match played 23 March 2021" is syntactically not a complete sentence). P.S. really appreciate the work you do to update Juventus players :) Nehme1499 00:35, 23 March 2021 (UTC)

Headings in "Career statistics" section

- I'm not sure what that proves. We wouldn't omit the Real from Real Madrid, so why are we removing the Royal from Royal Antwerp, especially when it's what the club's usually known as? Mattythewhite (talk) 23:04, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
I just meant to show that most other articles I've seen (including the latest versions of competitions that Antwerp are in) omit the "Royal" from the name. The same cannot be said for Real Madrid; the vast majority of their articles include the "Real" in the name, likely because their is another team in Spain that also has "Madrid" in its title. Meanwhile, there isn't another well-known Belgian side referred to in any way as "Antwerp"; the same logic can be applied to other teams such as Oviedo and Valladolid, who also omit the "Real" in their name in the majority of articles mentioning them. Mediocre Legacy (talk) 23:09, 22 April 2021 (UTC)
- @Mattythewhite: For years, the Royal Antwerp F.C. article has been stating that the club is "often simply referred to as R. Antwerp or simply Antwerp". Has it got it wrong? Robby.is.on (talk) 07:40, 23 April 2021 (UTC)
- Depends what the club is most commonly referred to in English language sources, but in my experience I've usually seen the Royal included. Mattythewhite (talk) 21:24, 23 April 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Please don't change the format of dates, as you did to 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup Final.
If you have any questions about this, ask me on my talk page, or place helpme

Infobox timestamps, part two
[edit]Hello, I'm Mattythewhite.

[edit]Why did you readd the flags to all those UEFA competition infoboxes? They are a violation of MOS:FLAG, and removing the information about the players' clubs is even worse. Please revert yourself. This has already been discussed at WT:FOOTY. – PeeJay 22:16, 25 May 2022 (UTC)
Ok, but I also don't think the top goalscorers' clubs have to be included. It's literally not mentioned on almost any other article's infobox. Mediocre Legacy (talk) 22:33, 25 May 2022 (UTC)
- The clubs are more useful for readers to know than the player's nationality, no? Either way, that's a separate discussion. Please remove the flags. – PeeJay 01:03, 26 May 2022 (UTC)
- Also, if the player's club is relevant for the "Best player" entry, why is it not relevant for top goalscorers? – PeeJay 01:04, 26 May 2022 (UTC)

Rowspanning opponents, stadia, competitions, etc. in international goal infoboxes
[edit]Obviously my and Robby.is.on's comments above were ignored, which is frustrating. So, again, per WP:FOOTY established standards please stop adding "rowspans" to international goal infoboxes where they don't belong. Rowspanning should only occur when the goals were scored in the exact same match, as made clear, yet again, at Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Players. You should not rowspan if two goals happen to be against the same opponent but at different dates or took place at the same venue or competition but on different dates. You have done this so many times—and continue to do it—that it has become bothersome fixing it. Again, I appreciate your work in adding players' international goals, but the format you are using for the infoboxes makes them totally unreadable. Please keep doing your productive edits, but please stop adding unnecessary rowspans. Your recent edits to Liam Walker and Junior Flemmings are two of many examples. WP:NOTBROKEN
[edit]Hi there. Per WP:NOTBROKEN footballer is just as valid as footballer, same with goalkeeper and goalkeeper. I would argue matching capitalisation is more easily readable. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 18:30, 27 September 2022 (UTC)

Regarding Alexis Sánchez addition to the list of men's footballers with 50 or more international goals
[edit]Hello mate! As I previously said in the edit summary: Some points regarding that issue: i) This list is based on RSSSF sources, ii) Alexis Sanchez's RSSSF ref is more recently updated than any other relative source, iii) RSSSF sources are more complete as they include more matches, e.g. Olympic matches which FIFA doesn't include and for which FIFA has no clarity what they include and what not, and matches the respective FA includes but FIFA doesn't, iv) FIFA uses RSSSF for their international stats, and I would like to add that his WP article about his international goals hasn't been updated yet (the point which is bolded), so please don't copy a part of a WP article to justify FIFA considering it as an own goal: FIFA's match report was corrected after initially having it recognized as an own goal, as you can see in the match report here. It just needs update in his WP list of international goals. Kind regards, Lorry Gundersen (talk) 15:58, 24 November 2022 (UTC)

"footballer" link
[edit]Hi. I've seen you change footballer to footballer at a lot of articles. For this sort of change that affects many articles and is contrary to what seems common convention you should gain consensus. Have you? Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 21:05, 1 March 2023 (UTC)
- No sorry I didn't, it's just that I thought linking directly to the article that corresponded with "footballer" made more sense than linking to the sport itself. Mediocre Legacy (talk) 21:08, 1 March 2023 (UTC)
- Okay. I'm not fundamentally opposed to changing the link even though it links to an article about players of all kinds of football, not association football specifically. But even so, I'd definitely recommend putting this up for discussion at WT:FOOTY. Robby.is.on (talk) 22:07, 1 March 2023 (UTC)
- I agree with Robby that these edits are poor - it is long established to link to the sport, not the 'footballer' generic page for multiple sports. I have reverted your most recent edits, please self-revert the rest. If it continues then your conduct will be viewed as disruptive and you will likely be blocked. Gregoritsch goal or Mangala own-goal
[edit]Hi, I see that you have reverted some edits concerning Gregoritsch goal or Mangala own-goal. I know that here https://www.uefa.com/european-qualifiers/match/2036347/ it says that Gregoritsch scored but when you look here https://www.uefa.com/european-qualifiers/top-scorer/ it says that Gregoritsch scored 2 goals however it should be 3 if we count the goal he supposedly scored in Belgium vs. Austria. Your thoughts ? Pindrice (talk) 21:25, 30 June 2023 (UTC)
- I say leave it as Gregoritsch for now as the top scorers sometimes don't update right away, especially when the initial goalscorer is changed. Also the UEFA report initially stated it was an own goal before changing it to Gregoritsch, so I feel like this is the more up-to-date decision. Mediocre Legacy (talk) 22:05, 30 June 2023 (UTC)

Leverkusen's opening half wins
[edit]Hi, you reverted my edit to the Bundesliga records page in which I put that Leverkusen had won 15 matches in the opening half of the season, stating it was only 14. Correct me if I'm wrong but an opening half of the season does mean the first 18 matchdays, no? Because in that case, Leverkusen have absolutely won 15 of their opening 18 matches. Sorry if I just don't know the exact definition though Reda84100 (talk) 01:10, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
- The opening half of the season is the first 17 matchdays, not 18: there are 34 matchdays in total, 34/2 = 17. Since there are 18 teams in the league, after 17 matches they have played every other team exactly once. Mediocre Legacy (talk) 01:41, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
