i'm not promoting myself at all. and the admin blocking, in listing references, skipping the independent ones, then saying they arent there... hows that look?

It looks like you're promoting yourself. Acroterion (talk) 22:41, 24 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Understandable error with my choice of user name. I don't blame you for jumping to that unfortunate conclusion. Let me know what Sources I needed to be different, I gave sev3ral, with at least one not affiliated with the subject or ordaining body. That was the only requirement I was given. Also, I'll be happy to submit a draft for review before trying to publish if that alleviates any tension. Matthewgrutledge (talk) 23:08, 24 March 2018 (UTC)matthewgrutledge[reply]

See also User talk:Michigandruid. That page seems to argue that this isn't the "real" Matthew G. Rutledge. In addition to the other issues that led to the block, this editor would need to confirm that they are Matthew G. Rutledge (see WP:IMPERSONATION for details on how to do so) or request a change of username before unblocking them can be considered. Huon (talk) 00:08, 25 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Done, Username wasn't meant to imply identity but if it helps avoid confusion, Not a problem. What criteria was I missing, hundreds of people would be interested in content.

Welcome!
