I would know why my article was denied. This article about Green Island Hills (Columbus, Georgia) has Wikipedia and it has no references and is a neighborhood near me .
- Hello and apologies for the quick denial. It is true that there are many unreferenced articles on Wikipedia. There are over 6 million articles on Wikipedia, and only a limited number of volunteers to review and improve them, so poorly sourced articles can stick around for a long time. A lot of these articles were created several years ago when the standards for articles were lower. The AfC guidelines prevent reviewers from accepting articles that are unsourced or unreliably sourced, so I am afraid that your submission cannot be accepted at this time. But if you can find more sources to support the content in the article, you can resubmit it and another reviewer will decide whether or not to accept it. You can ask for help with finding sources and writing articles at the Teahouse. Thanks, SpicyMilkBoy (talk) 02:19, 20 May 2020 (UTC)
