[edit]Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to Bangarang (EP), without providing a source and without establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. SnapSnap 18:56, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
More genre changing
[edit]Please do not change genres without providing sources. There is a long discussion on the Skrillex talk page regarding this. Please do not remove genres unless you can demonstrate it's what sources say and gain consensus for the change. Thanks. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 19:14, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
- I've also reverted the other changes you've done to various Skrillex recordings. You might like to read this essay here about "Genre Warriors", especially what it says about changing the genre of artists you don't like. Please don't be a genre warrior. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 19:30, 15 April 2013 (UTC)
Likewise, please do not remove properly sourced artists from List of dubstep musicians. All of the artists listed have been properly sourced or their articles list them as being in the dubstep genre. If you have issues with a specific article, bring it up on the talk page or the artist's talk page. Until a consensus is reached to remove the artist from the dubstep genre, do not continue to remove them. Contrary to your edit summary, the artists you removed have not been added "for the lulz". You have been warned once before for genre warring, do not continue to do so. Thank you. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:29, 28 August 2013 (UTC)
- Re your message: I checked the articles for Benny Benassi, Nick Romero, and Wolfgang Gartner and since they do not mention dubstep as a genre, I have removed them. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 04:38, 1 September 2013 (UTC)
