Please leave Adam Powell alone. The Rugby Player already has an article, Adam Powell (rugby player), as you well know since you created that article as well. You can't just take over the other Adam Powell because it was merged somewhere else. Collectonian (talk) 16:02, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Adam Powell (rugby player)
[edit]A tag has been placed on Adam Powell (rugby player) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Collectonian (talk) 16:04, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Adam Powell, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. You don't get to just clear the talk page and take over a previously existing article. Your actions are beyond inappropriate. Your player already has an article, quit trying to take over others. Collectonian (talk) 16:08, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
Please do not delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at Talk:Adam Powell. Such edits are disruptive and appear to be vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Collectonian (talk) 16:10, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule.
