- Sorry, it doesn't work like that. You can't copy big lumps of text from external sources because they're "facts". It is true that factual information cannot be copyrighted but if there is any creativity at all (the bar for this is very low) then it's eligible for copyright and copyright exists automatically unless the creator explicitly disclaims it. Practically any piece of actual prose can be copyrighted. You will need to rewrite this from scratch in your own words if you want it to end up on Wikipedia. Hut 8.5 21:57, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
I didn't copy big lumps of text. I cited several sources. You deleted 100% of everything. When you are referencing something that is already summarized, then it may look very similar.
- Yes you cited sources but you also copied from them. Citing sources doesn't mean you can copy from them. The source wasn't summarised, it was copied. Unless by "summarised" you mean that you copied summaries or only copied the most important bits, but that's still copying. It was much, much more than just "very similar". Wikipedia doesn't tolerate copyright violations, that's why the page was deleted. Hut 8.5 21:04, 11 June 2019 (UTC)
