Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Public relations has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. I removed the following link(s): http://www.articlesbase.com/public-relations-articles/the-difference-between-public-relations-and-marketing-760122.html (matching the regex rule \barticlesbase\.com\b).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thank you for uploading File:Rasool Bux Sarang.JPG. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Armbrust Talk Contribs 14:44, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Proposed deletion of Abdul-Majid Bhurgri

[edit]

The article Abdul-Majid Bhurgri has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The subject does not establish the notability, cited sources are not reliable sources. Justice007 (talk) 23:25, 9 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Aga Khan University, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Media. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

A tag has been placed on Sulaiman Shahabuddin, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Hello, LL70

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Nightenbelle, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Sulaiman Shahabuddin, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Nightenbelle}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!

ArbCom 2021 Elections voter message

[edit]
Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2021 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:21, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Recent edit reversion

[edit]

In this edit here, I reverted some information that appears to be a violation of our copyright policy.

I provided a brief summary of the problem in the edit summary, which should be visible just below my name. You can also click on the "view history" tab in the article to see the recent history of the article. This should be an edit with my name, and a parenthetical comment explaining why your edit was reverted. If that information is not sufficient to explain the situation, please ask.

I do occasionally make mistakes. We get hundreds of reports of potential copyright violations every week, and sometimes there are false positives, for a variety of reasons. (Perhaps the material was moved from another Wikipedia article, or the material was properly licensed but the license information was not obvious, or the material is in the public domain but I didn't realize it was public domain, and there can be other situations generating a report to our Copy Patrol tool that turn out not to be actual copyright violations.) If you think my edit was mistaken, please politely let me know and I will investigate. S Philbrick(Talk) 15:24, 29 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Richym. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Tony Jeton Selimi, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Richym. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Richym|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Sam Kuru (talk) 02:53, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Kuru. I'm a Wikipedia contributor since 2010. I'm a Tony fan hence spend time to research and write this non-paid piece.. Happy to improve it based on your feedback but please reconsider the deletion. Thanks. RS (talk) 03:04, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I see. That was complete promotional spam. Since you're going to insist this was not paid and you will not add the appropriate disclaimers to your additions, I've locked this account. I'd rather not out your personal details, but reviewing admins are free to e-mail me. If you agree to mark all of your previous paid contributions and avoid spamming in the future, then we can discuss an unblock. Sam Kuru (talk) 15:00, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. Please look at my history and see how many pages I have created so far and which ones look paid? None. Please unblock my account. RS (talk) 15:38, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Odd. Now that you mention it, most of your edits since 2016 looks like they were written by someone with a conflict of interest with Aga Khan University. Can you confirm that there was not a relationship between you and that entity and their related topics? Sam Kuru (talk) 16:06, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Of course I know people at different institutions, including Aga Khan University, but I was never paid for Wikipedia edits. This seems like an open trial of a Wikipedia contributor. RS (talk) 16:31, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I understand. As your answers do not seem to be integrity-based, I'll stop asking questions. Sam Kuru (talk)

Request reason:

Hello, I've been an active Wikipedia contributor since 2010. However, I've recently encountered an indefinite account block due to alleged advertising or promotional activities, which were deemed to violate the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. I kindly request that you consider reviewing this block by examining my editing history.

I want to emphasize that expressing an interest in individuals or institutions and providing updates about them should not automatically imply financial compensation. If there are specific portions of my contributions that appear to be promotional or advertisement in nature, I am more than willing to cooperate in improving or removing those sections. However, I believe it is essential to consider whether blocking the entire account or deleting entire articles is a justified response.

I wish to reiterate that I am an unpaid and impartial contributor, dedicated to maintaining Wikipedia's high standards of neutrality and accuracy. Your thoughtful review of my case would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your attention and consideration.

It's not hard at all to figure out that you have a strong and almost certainly paid connection to Aga Khan University, and it isn't just that you know people. Request reason:

Please help! I've been an active Wikipedia contributor since 2010. My account has been blocked based on a doubt of advertising or promotional activities, which is not the case. You can see my editing history. Expressing an interest in individuals or institutions and providing updates about them doesn't mean that they are paying to a contributor. If there are any portions of my contributions that appear to be promotional or advertisement in nature, I am more than willing to edit or remove them. I am an unpaid and impartial contributor. Please unblock me. RS (talk) 09:20, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You are clearly very far from an impartial contributor. I'm also disinclined to believe your claim to be unpaid and to have no conflict of interest. While I don't know for sure, I think it's likely you have a direct undeclared connection to the Aga Khan University. Yamla (talk) 11:45, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Oh. On further investigation, I have determined you do indeed have a conflict of interest and did indeed violate WP:UPE, repeatedly. A significant number of your edits were in blatant violation and your attempt to mislead us here in your unblock requests will count against the possibility of you being unblocked in the future. The time to be open and honest was when you started editing. Or when you were called on your violations. Or, you know, after you were blocked for these violations. That you have refused to be open and honest is deeply problematic. --Yamla (talk) 11:52, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Yamla. Thanks for taking the time and sharing your feedback. Please advise what options I have now to unblock myself? RS (talk) 14:24, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Your options have been as they have always been- to be honest with us. That won't be the end of the process, but the beginning. 331dot (talk) 14:45, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The reality is that I was never paid. What should I do so that you believe that I was never paid? RS (talk) 15:01, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you aren't immediately going to start being completely open and honest with us, you will lose access to your talk page. Think very carefully before making your next edit. If your next edit doesn't completely address the exact nature of the relationship between you and the subjects you have been writing about, it will be your last. --Yamla (talk) 15:04, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
