Hello, I'm Kevin12xd. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Jasmine Kara, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Kevin12xd 20:11, 25 March 2017 (UTC)
Warning
[edit]Removing sourced information like you are doing at Jasmines article can be perceived as vandalism.--BabbaQ (talk) 00:48, 4 April 2017 (UTC)
- Ok, jag ser nu att du iallafall påstår dig vara Jasmine. Om du vill få hjälp så kan du förklara på svenska så ska jag försöka hjälpa dig.--BabbaQ (talk) 00:50, 4 April 2017 (UTC)
Editing Jasmine Kara
[edit]Hi, Kakan88, welcome to Wikipedia! I'm a Wikipedia administrator. BabbaQ has told me he has been able to confirm via facebook that you are Jasmine, so that's great. (You understand we have to be very careful of people who say they're a well-known person, since anybody can edit Wikipedia and we don't know who they are.) But please don't edit your own biography article! That is strongly discouraged, see Wikipedia:Autobiography. Articles are supposed to be written in a neutral way, and it's difficult to be neutral in writing about yourself. I notice that your additions have in fact not been what we would call neutral ("Ever since that day, she has worked very hard to achieve dream after dream... She has become a great role model for especially the younger crowd", etc). Please instead suggest changes on the article's "talkpage", and I'm sure Babbaq will help you. He is very experienced in editing Wikipedia, and is also Swedish, so you can communicate with him in Swedish on his talkpage, or here on your own if you prefer. (But preferably don't write in Swedish on article talk, as everybody here is supposed to be able to understand it.) If Babbaq helps you edit the article, that will also take care of certain technical problems that I see with your edits — you won't have to learn about footnotes as long as you don't edit the article directly! ;-) Again, you're very welcome here. Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Kakan88. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Jasmine Kara, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:
- avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
- instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
- when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
- avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
- exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).
Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Wes Wolf Talk 21:04, 4 April 2017 (UTC)
