Please don't copy texts from other websites here like you did in Siam Commercial Bank, this is a copyright violation and needs to be reverted. andy (talk) 13:17, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
Hi Junphen, please be aware of Wikipedia policy regarding commercial organizations as shown below.
- Advertising. Articles about companies and products are acceptable if they are written in an objective and unbiased style. Furthermore, all article topics must be third-party verifiable, so articles about very small "garage" or local companies are not likely to be acceptable. External links to commercial organizations are acceptable if they identify major organizations associated with a topic (see finishing school for an example). Please note Wikipedia does not endorse any organizations and does not set up affiliate programs. See also Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies) for guidelines on corporate notability. Furthermore, those interested in promoting causes or events, or issuing public service announcements, even if noncommercial, should use a forum other than Wikipedia to do so.
Edits to the Siam Commercial Bank page or any other page for a commercial organization will always get reverted by someone, somewhere at some point eventually if the edits don't comply with this policy. Sean.hoyland - talk 04:30, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Dr. Vichit Suraphongchai, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.scb.co.th/html/eng/cg_org_strategy_vichit.shtml. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 08:40, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Dr. Vichit Suraphongchai
[edit]A tag has been placed on Dr. Vichit Suraphongchai requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. [edit]- Please note that you should put messages at the bottom of a talk page, and you can sign automatically using four tildes ~~~~.
- If you wish to recreate this article please note that
- advertising is not permitted, so any claims should be supported by independent verifiable references
- material copied from websites, including the bank's will be treated as a copyright violation unless the website states that the material can be used for any purpose, including commercial use. See above.
- The article should be neutral and encyclopaedic in tone.
- It is not a good idea to write articles in which you have a conflict of interest. Since this article was deleted by three different admins, I am not prepared to lift the protection yet. I suggest you write the article here and let me know when you are done. jimfbleak (talk) 10:19, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
- That's quite a lot better, I've reorganised the text and formatted and linked a bit. Two remaining problems
- This paragraph SCB offers a comprehensive range of financial products and services to respond to client needs through its business groups and affiliated companies. It addresses customer needs through retail services that include mortgage and personal credit, ATM cards, debit and credit cards, currency exchange facilities, overseas remittance, and investment and bank assurance products. In addition, it offers more sophisticated business products, such as business cash management, international trade assistance, and treasury, debt, and capital market products to business banking (SME) and corporate banking customers. makes a number of spammy claims, better to simply state the products without the claims I've bolded
- There are no references to indicate where the information comes from (I've put a heading for you)
- If you can sort these issues, I'll remove the protection so that you can recreate the article in the normal way. jimfbleak (talk) 12:09, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
- OK, I've fixed the ref and the spam, you can recreate at Siam Commercial Bank when you are ready jimfbleak (talk) 11:24, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Junphen. I've been watching the SCB article in your sandbox too. I searched the internet for extra sources and think this case study might be useful. For example: the fact that The Ministry of Finance supported the company through "matching capital from private investors" (search that phrase to find the info) should be mentioned in the article. Also the source tells us that it is called "The King's Bank".
- Ask me or Jimfbleak for help with how to reference it you don't know how. Thanks. Sillyfolkboy (talk) 13:23, 25 June 2008 (UTC)
Dear Sir, Actually, we create this short content base on the original content from our "Centuray of Growth...The first 100 years of Siam Commercial Bank" Book. It's fact, and users can view more content at our website, www.scb.co.th. So, what should I do next, please suggest. May I recreate content of Siam Commercial Bank now? Could you please remove the protection & create a headline for me, million thanks in advance. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.130.143.243 (talk) 03:15, 26 June 2008 (UTC)
- (repeat of message above) OK, I've fixed the ref and the spam, you can recreate at Siam Commercial Bank when you are ready jimfbleak (talk) 11:24, 25 June 2008 (UTC) I'm not going to post it myself because it will be automatically whitelisted - just copy and paste the text from your sandbox version jimfbleak (talk) 05:24, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

The file File:Scb headoffice.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
unused, low-res, no obvious use
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
