Why is there nothing on the talk page?

Shouldn't we have some sort of feedback or something here? It is so quiet. Friscoforrest (talk) 21:19, 31 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Peer Review Feedback - Kaleigh This looks really good!

For formatting: The headings types for some of the areas (California Vowel Shift, Community of Practice, etc.) could be added as the same heading type as "Valley-Girl Speak" in order to make navigation at the top of the page a little more functional.

In the first line of her biography, if I were looking for quick reference on her, I would want to know specifics about the books and collections that she had worked on without having to dig down into each of the sections below. It might be helpful to add the specific texts here. Possibly not critical, but might be more consistent with some other bio pages I have seen.

Communities of Practice I find the definition of communities of practice somewhat confusing, especially not coming from a background of sociolinguistics. In particular, the examples given are all around gender, it might be helpful to expand upon the examples to indicate that they can be about more than gender identity. Beyond being associated with identity factors through this lens, Communities of Practice are often thought of around professions. I wonder if it would be helpful to start a Community of Practice (identity or sociolinguistics) page to distinguish these considering how much information you have collected here. I'm not sure, just trying to figure out how to make it a little less confusing.

Great job! It's really cool to see this come together around a person instead of a concept. Kmrowka1 (talk) 21:41, 31 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
