No Air certification

[edit]

Please see the official RIAA certification for No Air at [1]. If you have a reliable source that shows No Air is 2xPlatinum certified, please provide that source and replace the RIAA source. If you do not have a source or think it is 2xPlatinum certified because it sold over 2 million copies and you continue to place this false information in articles, it will be treated as vandalism. To put 2x Platinum for No Air you need to provide a reliable source stating that, otherwise you need to leave it as Platinum. Just because a single or album reaches a certain sales level does not mean it is automatically certified at that level. The record company has to submit it to the RIAA and it is not considered certified until the RIAA says it is. Here is Carrie Underwood's RIAA search page showing that Before He Cheats is certified 2x Platinum, [2], while Jordin Sparks's RIAA search page shows that No Air is only certified Platinum. For more information see RIAA certifications. Aspects (talk) 10:49, 9 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
