[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Kidz Bop, please cite a reliable source for your addition. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. See Wikipedia:Citing sources for how to cite sources, and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. ⊃°HotCrocodile…… + 20:14, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
Page protection
[edit]Just to let you know, adding {{sprotected}} or {{protected}} to a page is only a means for an admin to notify users that a page is protected. This does not actually confer protection to the article. If you need help protecting a page, please contact an admin or request it. Thanks! ⊃°HotCrocodile…… + 20:28, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Googol written in standard form
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Googol written in standard form requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. MacAddct1984 (talk • contribs) 00:44, 7 March 2012 (UTC)
Regarding unit prefixes and musical notation
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your interest in musical notation and unit prefixes. Unfortunately, Wikipedia articles can not contain terms that you have made up yourself and I have reverted all of your recent changes.
If you are interested in mathematics, you might want to stop by the WikiProject Mathematics, which is a collaborative project for editors interested in mathematics. Of if you are interested in music theory, there is the WikiProject Music theory. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 00:58, 7 March 2012 (UTC)
Bot requests
[edit]Can you stop making bot requests? You don't seem to know how they work on wikipedia at all. --StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 21:28, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
Hi JordanKyser22. Thank you for your work on patrolling new pages and tagging for speedy deletion. I'm just letting you know that I declined your deletion request for Kidz Bop, a page that you tagged for speedy deletion, because the criterion you used or the reason you gave does not cover this kind of page. Please take a moment to look at the suggested tasks for patrollers and review the criteria for speedy deletion. Particularly, the section covering non-criteria. Such pages are best tagged with proposed deletion, proposed deletion for biographies of living persons, or sent to the appropriate deletion discussion. --StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 17:13, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
Welcome!
[edit]Hi Jordan. Welcome to wikipedia! I'm leaving a note here because it seems that your file File:Now That's What I Call Music 41 USA.jpg is properly on the page Now That's What I Call Music! 41 (U.S. series). Because of that, I've requested File:I would like to put this picture in the infobox in Now That's What I Call Music! 41 (U.S. Series)..jpg be deleted because it is an exact copy and therefore redundant. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask them–either at my talk page or by placing {{helpme}} on your talk page (including your question as well). If you want, you may read the introduction to using wikipedia. There are a lot of policies here, but they can all be summarized by these two–always cite what you add to an article, and try to keep a neutral point of view. Good luck! Another bot request?
[edit]You need to create an account for your bot before requesting approval for it. I don't think you understand what bots do on wikipedia. It is up to you to program the bot and then ask for approval to test it. It's not: "I want to do this, can I have a bot to help me do that?". --StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 22:38, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
- Jordan, please stop creating bot requests. If you open any more you will probably be blocked from editing. 28bytes (talk) 22:08, 21 March 2012 (UTC)
Hello JordanKyser22. I noticed you, or another editor created a Requests for Adminship page under your name, and I was wondering as to what the status of that request might be. Please note that new users are rarely successful at RfA and that the Wikipedia editing community sets an extremely high bar for potential administrator candidates. That being said, I strongly urge you to read Wikipedia:Guide to requests for adminship, Wikipedia:Adminship is not for new users, and Wikipedia:Not now, and ask you to reconsider whether you really do wish to go through with your candidacy; please understand that you stand very little to no chance of passing RfA at this point and that you are strongly discouraged from running for adminship. If you are still intent on running for adminship with that request and are absolutely positive this is what you want, please do let me know; otherwise, I'll go ahead and delete the RfA page for you in about a week or so from today. Last warning
[edit]Jordan,
I'm sorry, but I get the distinct impression you're quite young, and are just goofing around here. The problem is, when you make half a dozen requests for a bot, or nominate yourself for RFA, and ignore people who try to give you advice, you cause work for other people. I see above people have tried to be kind and gentle, and it hasn't worked, so I'll be blunt. Stop goofing around, right now, or I'm going to block your account from editing. --Floquenbeam (talk) 16:57, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
Your edits.
[edit]Hello, JordanKyser22. Or shall I say JordanJamiesonKyser or JarrodKyser05 (family member maybe?). Your edits are highly disruptive and can get you blocked indefinitely. In order to get a bot approved, you ,ust first write a program that some sort of task here automatically on wikipedia. To be an admin you mirst prove your experience, maturaty and abilities, and by the looks of it, I would suggest you are merely a kid, possibly a pre-teen, from what you edit and how you edit. WP:RFPP is only for protecting pages that NEED protection. By need, I mean pages that are highly vulnerable, subjected to consistent vandalism, or constant edit warring or disputes. I suggest you get a mentor, a teacher, to help you with wikipedia. See WP:ADOPT.—cyberpower ChatOnline 21:28, 26 March 2012 (UTC)
