Chinese architect Zhen Guanxuan
Hi Jooojay, you seem to be very well acquainted with the subject of Chinese architects. Do you happen to know anything about Zhen Guanxuan, who seems to have been a pioneer of Modernism? I have started a draft, which I was thinking of moving into Main Space, but it is rather thin at the moment. I have had a lot of trouble trying to find more info. If you can think of anything? Currently at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Zhen_Guanxuan. Cheers merlinVtwelve (talk) 06:34, 9 June 2017 (UTC)
- Hi merlinVtwelve! I would be happy to help, however Zhen Guanxuan - according to the book "Architecture and the Landscape of Modernity in China before 1949" was a lesser known architect. I will look it over tomorrow, see if I can find anything more. So at minimum, it can be a stub? Jooojay (talk) 07:13, 9 June 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks, anything you can think of would be great. I have put the Chinese characters in, however I am relying on Google Translate, so I don't know whether they are correct. There is a fascinating page here with Wang Da-hong and a very expensive looking car in 1937[1]. It is in Chinese, but Google does a passable job. I believe Zhen is mentioned in the text. However I am scratching my head somewhat. merlinVtwelve (talk) 08:50, 9 June 2017 (UTC)
